You forgot the normally decent guy that just had his heart tossed in a Cuisinart on puree. Anyone has the potential to be bitter, it's the risk one takes by saying Let's be Friends. Oh and F.Y.I. women get bitter over that as well..

OH, Darlin, It's their EGOS! Men have impossible egos and when they get rejected, they have to lash out! It's not only you this has happened to, Hun! Most "BOYS" just can't handle rejection very well. Now I don't know about you but my next relationship is going to be with a REAL man. One who has self-confidence as I myself do. And if it works GREAT but if not, I want us both to be mature about it. I want us to wish each other good luck, cherish the times we've had together and be friends FOREVER. I think this is possible but we have to be VERY careful who we pick to be our loves. There's not many out there like this soooo BE VERY CAREFUL who you pick to give yourself to! PEACE

Men and women behave the same way. I once told a woman that I was not interested in her. Well, she made sure that I would stay single for life. She told all the women she knew, fabricated lies on my personality. For a couple weeks, I was wondering why I was snubbed by many of her friends and acquaintances. Finally, one of her friend came up to me and ask me for the truth.
I guess she hated me, and made sure nobody would have me.

Thanks judith0606. I totally agree with you. I too have very high self esteem. And I decided a long time ago I was not going to change that for a man. And Yes, the next relationship I have will be with a "REAL MAN". It just is'nt fair that I have to comb through all the bad ones to get to "THE ONE."
