I have been on here just a few weeks. Yes, in the beginning I was looking for that so called "special someone". But after a while, I am more interested in the forums and trying to get to know some people and make friends. I know there are some good people on this site. So I am just going to sit back and enjoy it and if somebody comes along, so be it.
WEATHER..I did experince the almost the same thing. He ask me if my pictures were current and I said just a few months old...he blocked me right on the spot. Whats with that?. I just realized he just needed to grow up. I agree with what someone else said..Do some men WANT A REAL WOMAN OR JUST EYE CANDY?. So do not let it get you down..just enjoy the site and make some friends.

I was also ready to quit this thing too after a couple of days. I was kinda freaking out about the whole thing but A great guy named Dan told me to just hang in there and let the insecurity go. Good advice and now I am meeting some great friends. Went on one date and he was a total gentleman. I am going to stick around just a while longer and see what happens. You should too. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Any man that asks you how much you weigh isn't worth your time or your response to the question. I don't tell myself my real weight let alone some man on the computer!!

It's NEVER time to give up!

It will happen when it is supposed to happen... So take a breath - BELIEVE - And enjoy the journey... Be sure to observe everything around you... The sunsets, the dawns, the glow around a plant after being watered, the moon, the smiles along the way... I could go on but won't!

Find joy in everyday...

BELIEVE!!!!!

Peace & Blessings!

F*CK MEN and not literally!!!

Too much emphasis is placed on meeting someone and yes I know this is a dating sight.
But after I had my Pity Party about a month ago I realized that I was looking at this
all the wrong way. It's not them I want to meet anymore. I am doing for myself now and
going about my own business and let them WANT to meet me and DO for me and be interested
in me for who I am, what I have to offer and not some fantasy that they might have built up in their mind.
I am who I am and I'm not gonna feed into the 'run after me' syndrome to please them anymore.
Take me for ALL that I am or not at all.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!!
It's only fair!!!

Why the hell would they ask about your wieght anyway?!?

ouch! well alrighty then lol

You sarcastic?! Nevaaaa!!!

Too many men here want the woman to chase after them and give, give, give!
Then even without realizing it (or maybe they do) when the woman does, either they
back off or they don't reciprocate as much or at all. Many men want to take and not
give (or just enough but not more than they feel is needed to keep the woman on a string)
and don't get me started with the fact that they don't know how to receive!!!
Taking and receiving are totally separate and different things ya' know.

Give up! No!
Knowing when a person is a lost cause! Priceless!!

Take care of you first and foremost, everything else will fall into place on it's own!!
