I think we've ALL been played at one time or another or we wouldn't be on line trying to "screen" potentials, lol. Most of us got "played" for the first time in grade school or Jr. High I would imagine. As for me, what I learned from it, is to be better than that and not to do to others what I know hurts like hell when done to me. Can't very well look down my nose at ppl for doing something if I'm doing it too, right? LOL!
In all the "played" and "player" threads here, has anyone considered the definition of being played? To some poeple it's being cheated on in what has been clearly pronounced by both parties to be a cimitted relationship, and to others it can be as simple as finding out that your assumptions that a relationship IS a committed one were just that, ASSUMPTIONS. Some people walk around with their hearts on their sleeves and play themselves more than they GET played simply by making such assumptions without asking questions or talking to the other party involved about what's really going on between them. Simple rule on relationships that I follow... when in doubt, ASK!! Talk! Communicate! That way, if someone IS trying to play you, you tend to figure out the game a LOT sooner. I'm not saying grill 'em or give them the 3rd degree any time they've been out of your sight long enough to conceivably have sex with someone else, but from time to time asking how they really feel or where they see things going in the relationship is important. Otherwise, you might just be "playing them" by their standards and not even know it!

its happened to me. hes way younger than me. we actually have been messing around for 6 months. he was even in rehab calling me and telling me he missed, loved all that crap. then to find out after he got out seen me for a bit then found someone else. i just being played for sex. but only thing that gets me is when comes back home from ny he still calls me

I hear ya Kirota...I get pissed alot too. But they're are some nice people out there tha are honest and genuine. We are hard to find, you know. But once you got us...life is so much better.

yes it does happen , the worst part is you try to be straight with people,then they get a text when you are with them or they get a call but doesnt answer,then you think,i have been had.......some people call it betrayed, i think when it happens we lose faith in the human race.
