During the past few days I have received about 20 or so emails, all from different guys...from different parts of the country which they have a similar statement:

"...I came across your profile and found so many things in common between us..."

or

"...wow your profile really speaks to me..."

You get the gist. Then they proceed on telling me how they think I am extraordinary and they want to get to know me...so on, so forth.

Now...nothing wrong with all these, except:

- The first paragraph in my profile says that I am in a relationship and NOT looking to date and am here for the forums and my friends.

- The emails seem to be a generic copy/pasted format, since there is nothing personal in them. for example, it doesn't say, "wow, you play golf. I always wanted to date someone who plays golf"... or ..."You really like to pillow fight as a pass time, what a dumb b*tch."

So...here is my suggestion guys. I know that you all are paying attention to the forum posts, which is GREAT. You got the point that us girls really like it when you all read our profile. HOWEVER...It might be helpful, if you actually READ them...not just claim that you do.

Secondly,... we are pretty smart, actually....so when you send us the generic emails, we get it. If you really want to use a template, no problem, but leave a paragraph for a personal note.

I am saying these things for those of you who complain on a daily basis, why we don't answer emails, or why you don't have any luck here... to sum it up: Originallity pays.

Now... guys, any feedback? any tips for us? Girls, any comments? additional tips?

I copy paste and send the same message to 1000 chicks and get the EXACT same results as if I took 10 minutes to carefully prepare a message for each of the 10 women I could contact.

I tried doing it creatively and found it to be a huge waste of my time.

More so.. when I get a reply it's always the same

"LOL"

that's it... that's all I get back.

Where's the female creativity in "LOL" ?

How am I supposed to carry an e-conversation and reply to "LOL" ?

C'mon!

Must be a young person's thing, I have no idea what lol means! My own gripe is getting mail and winks
from men who match none of my stated criteria! I say I am liberal and a Buddhist and get winks
from "conservative" Christians, and we know they would not even want to spend an hour over a glass
of wine with me! Nor would I reply to any man who used those little jumping icons or whatever they
are called in his message....so, I suppose it all goes back to being an individual thing, some ring our
bell, and others do not. Ah, diversity!

irresistiblered,
I came acrosss your profile,
WOW really liked your playlist.
We have some many things in.... stupid stupid

You are right men have this genetic flaw, stupidity....

They see a pretty picture and forget to read the profile.
EVEN THE BOLD PRINT.
Post a really bad picture and change the song list to all Barry Manilow songs.

So many people bothe male and female do group emails it seems.
I read theirs and wonder whose profile they really read.
I know they have the wrong address.

Eddie might be a lot of things, but he is 100% ladies man. He was just being silly there, for my benefit...never mind....trust me... he is not gay.

We think eddie can handle the heat...he's secure in his manhood.
He has given me the best advice on handling women....hiding under the bed and throwing chocolate at her mouth....

Thanks for the the smiles dude.
Despite your crude exterior, there's a heart of gold....but I'm not going to give you a hug.

I love penis. What special lady wants to convert me back to the land of heterosexual?

There's shoe shopping in it for ya!
