IM not a giant fan of Mazzy Star , .. tho do enjoy this one song.
....and its pretty simple to play on guitar .. for those who do such.
...Its music is a reply compliment to Chris Isacks "Wicked Game"...and the Lryics evolve around Dave Mathews "Crash into Me"...the 3 songs are written closely alike ,...tho they are just made different by being in different keys of each other...tho Dave mathews uses a saxaphone to replace the reverberated guitar line...
Tho I truly just fall in to a comfortable sleep when ever listening to her voice..honestly...

I were gonna post some 9 inch nails for Jenn because she's such a sweat heart ,
...but thought I might pick a wrong one ....so thought to wait .
...Dire Straights , yeah their one of my favorites as well.
IM very versatile with music and listen to most all styles and venues... being I play guitar and study music .. I often even listen to songs I do not like for the learning experience..
I like finding things that sometimes is out of the ordinary..
Like this guy for example , .. he was kicked off U-tube because of his personal cover recordings sounded so original ..that Capitol records had his account pulled from u-tube several days after he decided to record some of his playing abilty onto disc and upload it to u-tube ...the video was never lost because u-tube was not allowed to pull subscriptions from users that had done subscribed to his channel.
Ido not know the guy , but had done some research ..on the related video.
U-tube has hundreds of cover players , ..yet none really have the prhasing this guy has ..I have always loved ZZtops original , ..and is a song iv known how to play myself for years ..yet this guy heavily improvises his version ..to a point I can not reach.

...IM not really into cover songs , but ..sometimes I find interesting things when doing so..........this is another cover favorite..
Yes..its not entirely the same song with out the sound of Mark Knoplers voice telling the hurdy gurdy tale of the sultans of swing ...but this guy is on time ...because once listening ..you barely notice ...the rest of the entire song is missing such as the drums , base ..etc.....look closely you will see both people are the same guy...dubbed into one video....yeah the video is slightly boring ..but hook this tune to your stereo...and it sounds awesome.

I like songs that are about summer , ...
tho I didn't want to post favorites like ...Don Henlys "Boys of summer" ..nor the Ataris remake ..which I really like ..but just want to stay away from that ..Led Zepplin type radio station ..that just keeps repeating favorite oldies ..till they no longer are favorites...
This song is a bit drippy ..but I love the clean tone of the guitars melody ..and I thought todays weather sort of fit the song..
...( a special thanks to those who have posted vidoes , ..I thought people would post them too ...but I also know a lot of people here are on just phones and can not post from them....IM thinking this is why all the video threads disappeared.)....

I had to post this next video , after being reminded of thoughts I were having recently the other day , while traveling home down a dark highway...
...I were stopped at a red light , and Darious Rucker's version of "wagon wheel" was playing over the satellite receiver in my suv ,..
........I slowly became sunk into the song , his voice ..and the story behind Him.
I had always gave him credit for being a great singer , ..though in a gospel style.
IM sure most are familiar with who he is , but then the gift of aging ..is we often know things ..that existed earlier ..,before those people who are younger than us..
.....and many people still argue they don't listen to country , ( how ever some one is lying because country actually sales twice the number of records than any other music category out there ..including rock and roll..true fact `~Ripley's~...believe it or not )
So a few may still actually be unfamiliar with who Darious Rucker is ..or where did he derive from.
Anyhow for those who remember the fads and hits of the 90's ...Darious Rucker was the front man for the band Hooty and the Blowfish,...He had a number 1 hit single that I believe hit Platinum...called "Let her cry" ...I had even bought the album , and learned parts of the song on guitar.
Tho he just could sing in a gospel style , which left the band quickly plummeting into bankrupt afterwards...and had began discouraging record companies to carry his label.
M.T.V. had thought to permote him , ..but after doing a unplugged episode ..he had left the audience somewhat quiet ..as they had expected to hear new material from him ...,
...and radio had already overplayed his hits "Let her cry" "hold my hand"and "only wanna be with you"...I remember watching the episode , and seeing the moment ..where he begins to show he was loosing his secuirity.
...You didn't hear nothing of them or him for several years after....not until one day , He popped up out of no where , dressed in a Peewee Herman Style cowboy out fit. Singing about a Burger King Bacon Burger Sandwich. ..
It is said , He had a lot of celeberty Admirors , who felt bad for him and felt he had great talent but just didn't know where he fit in...The Burger King add had given record companies knew Ideas , and so they invited him to country music ..feeling it was the meant place for him ..while at the same time , break the racial barriers found in some country music.
He is not an uncommon story in music history , ..but is a for ever mark in modern Black History ..tho Black History does not recognize this ..

This song has been ratteling in my head for a while lately...
...Some people tell me , they cant stand Kenny Chesnney , but He has a string of hits I really like , ..when it comes to toning down ..and listening to some soft tunes.

I dated a girl a few years ago , that found me over on P.O.F. ....
I had wrote a few post here about her , ..she were in my story tittled the "country drive"
.....she were scared of mosquitoes , and river walking ..and was with me , when I ran a huge rattle snake over ,that made a loud popping noise ..like a sealed milk jugg.
We didn't date long , She had suspicious sores on her body ..and lived life on a different wave link than I ...
Their were a few here ..that often thought my adventure story's with this girl were all jokes and sarcasm... when finding my posts.
A few like Lezly would always tell me they wished I wrote more stories like that..
..being many thought the stories were make believe...wrote to just kill time or stir attention.
....Any how the girl I had dated , went by the name "Shay"..and said she had met Kenny backstage once at a concert , .....she had said he was huge d*ck , a glamor boy ..who was all about himself......(I guess this means he wouldnt f**k her  )........
......( the ones who like the rated G version ...will have to please excuse my redneck )..
................................( its the only language i know ).
This put a bit of bad taste in my mouth for Kenny ...when hearing this .
...but then after jamming a few more tunes later ,..I remembered hes just a dude , regardless his personality ...the boy can sing .
..............................( I mean id never f**k him... )
...( so he would probally think im a D*ck ..alsohe he ever met me back stage ).
.............( Oh..an..too the catholics in the room , Im sorry...but i had to speak just a little more redneck for a moment )
