He wanted to paint her, only her. He approached her through her priests, they encouraged this past time. They felt documentation of the only mortal creature in this land would be a good thing. He ventured to her apartments and given her this costume; she put it on; it left her breasts bare to cool temple air. Her hips down to her painted toes were left free, and the cool air sensitized her skin.
She had not met him until he'd given her this contraption. It was made of leather, black with red ribbon going in a crisscross pattern up her back. She had to have her priests tie it for her. He called it a corset, and she liked how it felt around her abdomen for it made her feel secure and safe. The priests who'd been her parents all of her twenty two years of life took her to the god Malikk's temple, the god of men. He had a canvas ready by the fountain which had been built as a shrine to this gentle god. In front of the canvas he was stooped over placing a purple velvet blanket over the lip of the fountain. He had an assortment of objects she had never seen before laid out by his paint brushes. He was tall, his hair black and kept short unlike many of the fairy creatures. He was lean with rippling muscles down his stomach, like all fairies he wore no covering over his upper body and only a loin cloth to cover his maleness.
"You're to lay down here. Bend your knees and let them fall to the side." He said, his voice sounded like the deep bell that was only rung during the time of battle. Her nipples hardened.
She looked to her priests. They only nodded and then bowed out of the temple. With their permission, she walked to the velvet blanket and set her bare bottom down. The cloth tickled her skin, but she kept her mouth closed and her eyes lowered. He forcibly moved her legs for her in the way he wanted them barring her female flesh. He sucked in a breath. He, like many of the fairies, had never seen such a plump clit, nor had he ever seen one with a metal bar piercing it. The priests had pierced her clit when she was fourteen, when they realized she was the only mortal born of this new generation.
"Do not move." He said, his voice harsh.
He left her laying there, her cheeks pink from embarrassment. He went back to his canvas and picked up his paints. The whisper of the brush sliding over the canvas filled the quiet temple. The fountain water at least helped soothe her taunt nerves with its gentle music.
"What is your name?"
The paint brush stopped moving and his head popped up from the canvas. He eyed her suspiciously.
"I have no name."
He went back to painting. They stayed in silence, her cheeks remained pink as she studied his body. His thighs were thick with muscle, and his fingers long and slender. His eyes were so dark they looked like chips of obsidian had been dropped into his eye sockets by the gods. His full mouth was set in a harsh line of concentration. Several hours went by as he worked and she sat for him.
"Stop blushing." His mouth barely opened.
"I can't." she didn't giggle, but the urge was there.
"I said to stop, so you will stop." His eyes met hers.
"I can't stop blushing just as you can't stop looking so fierce. What are those?" She looked to the long objects he'd left by his other paints.
"They are male members, made of glass that at a later time I will have you use so that I may paint what a mortal looks like impaled. Stop blushing." He dipped his brush into another color of paint and put it to the canvas.
"Why not show me how to use them now?" She bit her lip. She'd never been so forward with a man in her life.
"You are impatient and not ready. When I say you are ready then I will show you. But for now you will sit for me." He glared at her and she was silenced.
The time ticked away and the sun moved across the sky preparing to hide beyond the horizon. The painter, for that is what she would call him, put his brush down then moved his hand over his supplies making them dissolve into a puff of white smoke.
"May I see it?" She did not move from her spot for he had not given her permission yet.
"No, and you will not ever see what I draw of you. Your insolence is irritating at best so the next time you come to this temple you will wear a mask I will fashion for you. It will cover your whole face except for your eyes and you will keep it on by holding it in place with your teeth. I will put a button where the mouth piece is and you will hold onto it. If you let it fall, well do not let it fall." He spoke, piercing her with a stare worthy of a marble statue. He was an intense man and her body tingled with his acknowledgement and his frustration.
"Yes Sir, I will not let it fall." She lowered her eyes from his. She didn't see it when he waved his hand over the painting making it disappear to wherever his paints and glass male members went.
"Close your legs and go back to your apartments. Your priests will be there. No one is to see my little muse or her silver until I have finished all of my paintings. Am I understood?" His voice washed over her making her want to swim in it forever.
"Yes Sir, I understand."

Some of the diction needs to be reworked to fit the formal tone, but I enjoyed it. And thank you, I tend to get a laugh or two in my work. Mimic what I have dine with how to get the characters to feel real and you will be golden

"You will be golden." I had no idea people stil say that. It is a term I remember frequently being used in my youth which I rarely if ever hear anymore. That actually gave me goosebumps.
You're so golden!  Hilarious! I just said that out loud like I was still a teenager.

I hope you don't mind me popping in...I saw your conversation and link in johns thread and was curious enough to come and look.
You do an excellent work with words. I saw where you mentioned the diction needing reworked but I really don't see the need for change in what you have here so far.
I believe you are more knowledgeable than I am in literary works though, so I will have to take your word for it.
I would however like to compare the "improvements" you make to this work with what you have right here if you don't mind allowing it.

Thank you very much. I celebrate 11 years in August of studying my field. (Yes I started at 7). Writing is my life. When I am done with my other work I will come back and rework this one. This is a flash fiction piece however and will probably never be published in a book of works or anywhere except online.

Each chapter of each book is written by a different author and is about a different character, mostly. The writers did collaborate on how the stories intertwined and their direction. I read the series when I was much younger and loved it. Now sure how it would hold up nowadays.

Each book was released in short paperback form. It's one of the reasons it held my own attention at such a young age. I believe I was right around your age or younger when I began reading the series.
