Forrest has the steel jaw to take on someone like Rampage and beat him.
He stayed active and destroyed Jackson's left knee.
His first title defense should be against Jackson; the fight was too close to not warrant a rematch.

I fully agree with Eppy i think he is right on the money you can never count him out and never under estimate the influence of not only Forrest's talent and skill as a in your face fighter but also the fact that Forrest is where he is now because He's up for the challenge as for anything with Forrest it's adapt and over come so basically witht his upcoming title fight i think he's already won but then again i await being proven wrong on this but the odds are really stacked against Forrest's opponent!!!! "And I'll Drink To That".

I disagree man cause see if you set it out then Jackson has time to chew on the fact he got his close fight but all in all he still lost so let him stew on it a delayed reaction always makes a better fight because then the fighters are both amped up 100% as well they give the crowds something to dwell on for weeks but the fighters that were chosen as Forrest's the Champ and this other fighter is a little less known and will only be expecting what he hears about Forrest and only trains for that so in a way Forrest has the right opponent for now. a Great fight and a Great sport I think that the fighter's sometimes do not even know when the fight is over hence what we saw with Shammrock and Tito and many others the fight was called as over and one fighter still ready to get beat and beat up on the other guy but the ref called it so no one really knows but Forrest really knows what he is doing so its going to be great.!!!!!!

I think forest would beat Machida for the simple fact that in machids last showing he would hit and run and that worked against Tito but not forrest forrest he a warrior and im pretty sure he'd cut him off give him a ton of kicks like he did to jackson and just chop the tree down baby! as for the fight I wanna see that would be Jackson vs Wanderlei that would be a good fight to see in the UFC Jackson beach liddell andliddell beat wanderlei so idk man seems like it could be a toss up!!

In a Forrest Vs. Machida match my money would definately be on Machida, he's too elusive for Forrest and is a De La Riva black belt in BJJ. And he trains with Anderson, so he's used to sparring with fighters with INSANE stand up. Forrest IS a warrior, but Machida win this fight in my opinion. I hope this fight happens and we get to see what happens.
As far as Rampage and Wandy... interesting fight. Wandy DESTROYED him not once, but TWICE, and has looked good since. It's really a tossup though. I'll go with Wand.

I guess the way I look at it is Forrest is a stand there and ty to win fighter hes im going to pound you submit you kick u as hard as I can until you give up type fighter he goes afterit where as with Machida he doesn the bare necessities like with Tito that fight was a joke he would jab combo RUN jab combo RUN lol it was the most boring fight well next to Quarry vs starnes fight when Quarry was so pissed that starnes wouldnt fight him sohe threw up that amazing elephant trunk and just chased him laughing his a** off that was great!!

Starnes was running and being a p*ssy. Machida is a great fighter that knows how to win, and impressively submitted Sokoudjou. I'll admit that he may not be the most exciting fighter to watch, but if you can really appreciate fighting than you can see the beauty in how he fights. I think he's a future champ, and his teammate Anderson thinks so too. Forrest is a tough guy though, and has tons of heart. I just don't think he has the skill to beat someone who trains stand up with Big Nog and Anderson Silva, and is a De La Riva Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu...He's boring sometimes, but he knows how to win fights. It'll be a good fight either way. But I gotta pick Machida.

Sagiv obviously your really into the whole MMA thing and ur smart and you know your stuff not trying to take anything away from you but you have to figure MMA was started with a point of no rules no rouds no time limit fights would last hours and honestly a guy that runs and acts smart or as a p*ssy I would call it is quite pathetic if you cant beat a man hand to hand or submission to submission you have no right fighting that man ya know?? to jab combo and run is good but beat the man dont do decision its just the worst way to win its boring and isnt worht the $50 some odd dollars people pay to watch the fight thats why Machida hasnt gotten the chance to fight for the belt yet the UFC wants money not boring fights the Forrest vs Rampage fight was good back and forth straight up battle period. So if your going to compare anderson silv to Machida your way off bro think about it yea he beat sokajou or however you spell it but he also only had 4fights so come on man atleast give me props for that!

He's not always the most exciting fighter to watch, I will give you that. But the man wins fights. I don't compare him to Anderson directly in terms of style, but they train together every day (and with Minotauro Nogueira). So he knows what it is to bang with top level strikers, so I don't think he'll have trouble avoiding Forrests attacks.
Iv'e been watching MMA since UFC 3 in 1994 (I think it was 94) So yes I realise that it started out with no rounds and no size limits. But the sport has evolved. Part of me still misses the old days, but part of me knows that what happened is good for the sport, as far as mainstream recognition.
I hear ya though, he can come off as boring at times, but the man gets the W EVERY TIME. And really, that's what counts at the end.

I agree he gets the W but to be a P4P best fighter and I would hope every fighter strives to be there they go after it they take the chances and they make highlight reels out of people thats why liddell is a millionaire and couture like they won fights by ending them no running and hitting when they had to so thats what I mean by it but yea I get exactly what you mean Macida is a good fighter no doubt but hes boring to say the least and yet he still gets the W's but I really think thats why he hasnt gotten a title shot period man tats it! its boring people want to see a good fight
