have you ever got drunk and gone out to eat at a restaurant on friday night shortly before close? well i did and really had a blast...i arrived 5 minutes before close along with six of my friends the waitress who was in a good mood came out of the kitchen smiling until she saw us sitting there...she told us that she had a very hot date and hope we would not order large so we tried that as we went around the table we ordered our drinks she went to get them and returned with the receipt...i said wait we are not done yet she said ok what would you like...so we did not want her to have that blonde moment we each ordered one thing on the menu...she brings it out along with the next bill...i said excuse me but thats only our main entree we do need to order some sides as well this time she asked each of us if that was the only sides we wanted and i said yes but you could have made it easier on yourself to take all the order at once than to request us to short order...well she was well a lil pissed off and then she returned with another check. as she started away i cleared my throat and remarked what a hostess forgetting dessert now...she came back over and was really red faced well i thought that i did not mean to embarass her like that so i said i am sorry to embarass you and she said you didn't so i had to ask her why she was red well she started tapping her foot and i thought great her boyfriend stood her up and it came out that way too...well being a little bit tipsy i misheard her with the sundae offer and all the toppings and i thought great i will have the sundae with the s&m i meant to say could you repeat the toppings...needless to say the cook came out as my friends duck for cover leaving me there to talk to the burly cook he asked what did i say to the waitress cause she never been so upset in the year she worked there...i repeated it and he chuckled and went back into the kitchen said there i took care of that for you...now go get their money...whew....

Well Walt, the story was about a drunk and his buddies who went to a restaurant 5 minutes before close and decided to harrass the waitress. I didn't find it at all enlightening or funny. In fact it gave me a good picture of what kind of person he and his buddies were. Jeanne
