I've just been reading some threads that are just too stupid , rude, nasty to both genders if no one posted would they go back to their caves and disappear ???? Or is it like a train wreck and we have too answer and is this our cyber entertainment ???

No, they would not go away. Whether it's here in cyberland or in the real world, there will always be those who thrive on this. I agree with fredricko. You can learn about the true nature of some people by reading they're posts. They may paint a pretty picture in their profile and be totally different in the forums.
