Hello, my name is George. I am 42 yrs old and recently amicably divorced. My son (13yrs) lives with me and I get blessed with visitations from my daughter (4yrs). I have two other grown boys whom I'm honored to be their dad that are away from the nest. I adore children hope you do also.

Truthfully I'm dreading re-entering into the dating scene or getting into anything serious at the moment. I'm here mainly for the forums. They're very edutaining.

I like to be casual, take things slow and deliberate and I have a good outlook on life. I strive to live a good healthy honorable existence, love passionately and give in abundance. I'm fairly domesticated but in my free time, I enjoy going to concerts, going to the movies, hanging out with friends, being in nature, hiking, biking, camping, long walks on the beach or whatever other opportunities present themselves. I work for the state university system so I'm not wealthy and probably won't be anytime soon. I do enjoy my career and the people I work with. I'm honest to a fault, compassionate and a good listener.

I'm not religious, but that doesn't mean I don't believe there's a higher universal power of some sort. I simply have issues with organized religion and choose to be my own spiritual self. I do believe that if a person lives their life as a decent human being, treats others with respect and kindness, and helps out when they can, they are good people. I don't begin to know what happens to the soul, or essence of a person when the body dies, but I refuse to believe it just ceases to exist.

I'm interested in meeting a like-minded mature lady to participate in activities together. I believe that good relationships and friendships are tantamount to good health. Unfortunately I don't dance but always wanted to. Perhaps if the chemistry is right I may be enticed to take lessons.

It's not like I'm expecting this from anyone but my perfect match would be someone who is sexy, body, mind and spirit in my eyes. Someone who is adventurous, intelligent, and likes to get a little crazy and be playful periodically. She looks forward to exploring new things. MUST love animals, have an opinion and mind of her own or be open minded and receptive to enriching and creating herself, fun loving, easy going, in touch with her sensuality and true to herself, feminine and strong, daring, healthy sense of humor, appreciates people who are nice. Is reciprocal and kind and has integrity (do what you say you will do). Loyalty is very important to you, and friendship is an honored title. Appreciates the best life has to offer, and knows she deserves it.

Coming back down to earth from La La Land, What all that means is I'd just like to make friends with a gentle soul who respects themselves as much as they are able to respect others. For example how you treat our waiter/waitress when we go out to dinner speaks volumes about your character. The rest just tends to snap into place.

Honesty is the best policy. Honesty, to me, is not a moral issue, but an energy and power issue. When you are dishonest, you are opting into problems and turmoil and opting out of energy. In order to move back into the Flow, out of the realm of turmoil, and into authentic power, simply employ the power tool called "honesty."
