Well i enjoyed the responses that I received,some were quite enlightening(learning tool) and others are judgmental. I'm a DAM GOOD MAN who happens to ride a bike.

First---"pass up several very wonderful men, one who might be your soulmate"- Each person who excludes any person/group/race/size can be told the same thing. Its a choice,a criteria a person has. No vehicle tells me-cant see me at a whim, dependant on my vehicle,my gas or public transportation-which means undependable transportation-(bus schedules,etc).. Harder to get together-whenever. Have to "schedule"..you see where Im going with this?....

Second---Your reasons-might be sound-to you. But your on a date site, asking to meet someone in your area. It goes to reason that you need to meet this person. Now unless you have a very large pool of people to choose from who also live near you, AND is ok with you not having a vehicle--then your kind of screwed (not saying you are).

But I dated someone who didnt have a vehicle--And learned-there is always a pretty good reason why they dont have a car--and it isnt as honorable as your reasons.

Does it make you a loser? No.. it makes your options fewer.

Why does it matter if a man has a car or not ?

i have found that if a man does not have a car or vehicle, he has lost his licence due to being an alcoholic or he's a loser..... how can you work, date, do anything without transportation.....that goes for women also!
