I'd like o know why on all these lonely hearts singles places.Why ,when you talk with someone ,all they want to do is talk and talk and talk about talking.I would think someone would want to meet their prosective his or her and try to get things moving.I realize you try to know someone before moving farther into a relationship but six months or a year is plain silly By the time you think that person is ok to meet .either she or you will croak due to boredom if nothing else.
Your thoughts!!!!!!!

Well it is like this...women have to be very careful and it is much better to get to know someone a little before meeting. It is called "checking them out"...LOL Now a year is a bit much....hahahahahaha I do agree with you there. Perhaps that other person is hiding something from you if it that long. To me...that is another "red flag"....meaning run for the hills!

Jordy keep in mind...many people are not truthful about their lives. In fact, many put up pictures that are not them, the lie about marital status...age...whatever. When it goes on to 6 mos. to a year that the person does not want to meet...then there is something wrong. Trust your feelings.

You know, men have to be careful too Sis. You'ld be surprised how many people, men and women, use this or other sites to escape a situation, and they don't care how they prostitute themselves for a chance at that escape. There are a lot of really good people here, but you need to talk with them for a while and listen to what they say to find that match.

Jordy I dont know about others but I feel ready to meet someone after a couple weeks of talking...much more than that seems to build unrealistic expectations and lessons the infatuation that is supposed to be there.

I read your post and I knew what you were responding to, but see that's what we do in these forums, we make comments on what the people before us said. I'm sorry if it felt like a personal attack.
