 why is it that most guys have to cheat ? i mean if u want to cheat y dont u just break it off with that person so noone gets hurt can any one answer this for me ?

Because they are schmucks - not men. The tricky part is trying to separate the men from the schmucks. It's kind of like getting a bowl of spaghetti and linguini and separating them.

I like the symbolism, and it is very true. I have many many friends and I only know 2 other of my guy friends and 1 of my girl friends besides myself that does not beleive in cheating... It's sad but true good luck hun

Depends on what stage of the relationship you are in. I have been the type of guy to only date one woman at a time, but recently I have been doing some soul searching. I should date multiple women at once, and make my decision based on which one is the most compatible for me.
Some guys date multiple women for a vast majority of reasons, but the only reason I want to, is because I am the type of guy who gets attached too fast and usually ruins things with the women I am with. So if I would date multiple women at once, and one breaks it off with me, oh well, I have the other ones I am dating.

You know, there's a certain logic to what you say, but it makes me wonder, are you takling about sleeping with all three or just dating?
I think it goes all the way down to our primitive, animal instinct to 'spread our seed' - that, plus the simple thrill of variety and something unknown.
The trick is to find the one that captures your heart to the point that it overrides and overrules those 'animal instincts'.
Meanwhile, you're probably better off sticking to one at a time. Juggling is a difficult act.

Wow...if most guys cheat...that is definitely a sad statement about men.  I have to believe that there are good men out there that have good character, good relationship skills and the courage to do the right thing and end an exclusive relationship before beginning another.
Dating multiple people is okay as long as everyone knows upfront what is going on and is honest about it. However, dating multiple people to get to know them better is one thing....but when sex enters the picture...it changes things. I would date a guy that's dating other women as long as he wasn't having sex with them.....but when that happens...I'm gone.

In a recent study I read it said that women were more likely to cheat on men. So, it looks like it works both ways. I think that the reason some people cheat is because they are torn between both worlds; the one they feel safe in and the one they want to explore. I'm not saying that it is right but, that is my theory. I think we women tend to take things to personal, it really isn't about us, it is there need to explore. Obviously there is something missing in the relationship for them or they wouldn't be lookig elsewhere. Communication is important in any relationship, talk to your mate and keep an open line of communication. But truthfully you will be hurt either  way.. The truth hurts sometimes and when you care about someone you don't like to hurt them. Not making excuses, just calling it like i see it.

Most men don't cheat.
ALL cheaters cheat because that's what cheaters do.
No different than a rapist, if they didnt rape anybody they would be a rapist.
Hell some cheaters follow married women from state to state just so they can cheat. There are all kinds of statistics and studies about it. But the bottom line is that cheaters cheat for no other reason than they are self centered inconsiderate low life trash with no moral fiber. Just don't ask them to define the word.
