I find internet dating to be playing a mind game at first. Do you write? or do you find a way to show yourself as an interesting person, to make them wish to possibly get to know you.
I decided when I returned to this site a few weeks back, to do something different
. There are so many to choose from. How can one stand out in the crowd? Then it hit me. I now look at this as if I'm a tv commercial. marketing 101. not only do people get to kind of know you via your posts here in the forums, yet your profile does speak about you. How can I make my ad campaign pay off so I can elliminate the writing emails to women? Being I did hang much in forums, I did receive many emails, and have made many internet friends, but I wanted more. I wnated to increase the numbers so to speak, and found that being different in my profile accomplished this.
so....................is Virginia for lovers? I'm hoping she is just for one, and I'll find out if I ever meet her...........

I've been on this site now for two weeks and have barely had any type of correspondence with anyone yet? Please tell me if anyone has met anyone special from this site here in Virginia.
Still looking. But, I have had some success posting on Craigslist (Hampton Roads) > personals > men seeking women. Beware though (lots of spammers).
That might be another way to network yourself.
It's OK to be optimistic.
Sort of like a movie.
Starts out with anticipation followed by disappointment then ends up happy (hopefully). Or in rehabilitation. lol
