Hey Karin, I am 52, in Westerly, a mental health/substance abuse counselor. single mom,looking to get out and have fun. I heard of this place called MardiGras (I think that's the name) not sure if its in Warwick or what, but it has different types of music in different rooms. I love to dance, was into disco, still am. I know of a club in Providence called The Hi Hat they have some pretty good bands there on friday and saturday night. I always go out alone because my friends are married etc. What night would be good for everyone? Thanks for the replies, it would be alot of fun to get out and about and have some laughs!!

Just pick a place and a time. Crickets is easy to find. It is on Rt116 at the intersection of Rt 7 in Smithfield right next door to a Nissan dealership. Sunday seems to be a favorite so 8PM sounds good.

Hi I have been to the Hi Hat several times, it's a decent place to go, I have been to Olives, Art Bar, Rick's Road House, a few of my friends went to Vincents in MA a couple of years ago...its fun to people watch!!...

Hi everyone, A group meet sounds like a good idea. I've been to the Art Bar, gets really crowded in there. Heard about Vincents in MA too far during the week. Never been to Hi Hat but heard of it, kind of exspensivr for drinks there. Crickets is nice, I've been there, but again, night before a work day, a bit exspensive for drinks as well. As for me, going anywhere around Broad Street in Providence, I won't go. How about a place like a bar & grill type? There must be many other places around, even maybe a place that has karaoke for anyone that enjoys that.
