The Bureau of Labor statistics is reporting that despite the unemployment rate falling to 5.3% the actual participation of adults in our workforce is at it's lowest level since 1977.The biggest declines have occurred in males age 24-54, followed closely by males age 20-24.The participation by this huge swath of male workers has been steadily declining for the past 12 years, showing little improvement as the job market has improved. With a reported 5.3 million current job vacancies waiting to be filled, the fact that this group, of unemployed male workers, continues to grow indicates these workers may have permanently dropped out.

And your point is what?
I believe you are going down the path of all these jobs that are available and the youth are too lazy to go for it?

But how do you explain the high unemployed numbers of black and latino males between 16 and 24?

Oh, you're out to lunch. There's no doubt about that. But I have never posted anything other than to confirm the fact that unemployment is much, much higher than what the gangster-capitalist government wants the American people to believe.

In fact, attaching my name to a position completely contrary to what I have posted only serves to confirm what I've said previously about you. That being that you have a serious inability to comprehend what you've read.

You were mocked for failing to understand how the economy improved in spite of labor participation. You pick and choose right wing talking points and ignore capitalist failures like spending on education that could have prepared people for employment or making employers pay a living wage.

The mining, quarrying, gas and oil extraction has gone from a 2.5% unemployment rate of last June, to 8.9% this June. Agriculture was 4.6% last June, to 7.6% this June. Anytime real work takes a hit, you will find those higher numbers.

You talk a lot, but you offer little, if any, proof to back up your claims. For instance, where is the proof that I said capitalists assassinated Trotsky? Where is the proof that I've ever lost an argument to you?

On the other hand, I tend to back up my claims with article excerpts. Unlike you and most of your right-wing buddies on here, I don't like to just talk out of my ass. And that drives you lying, sack-of-shit right-wingers right up the f**king wall. You would all much prefer that everybody simply talk out of their a** as that would even the playing field.

Every law passed takes choice away from the people and hands more power to the government. Laws do not lead to freedom, no matter which half of the government supports it.

Every time you post Condor
you dont post proof, you post an opinion from a website, even the one of the Greek bailout was laughable.

As in proof of capitalists killing Trotsky, I dont considered that assassination , that would imply that Trotsky was important ( which he wasn't) a Jew that hated Jews, while I give him marks for his intelligence and ability to organize a revolution, I wouldn't call him a great or important figure.

He was a violent thug ( the first leader of the Red Army) and history has uncovered proof of the red armies atrocities met a fitting end.

Killed by the KGB on the orders of Stalin.

Im still waiting for the proof of the right wing counter attack Stalin ordered?

Well, mathematically, 223,000 jobs were created in June, however, 640,000 people left the labor market last month, thus, that explains why both the unemployment rate, and labor participation rate ticked down.

Once again, since 2009, I've been saying "the official unemployment rate isn't a reliable economic indicator anymore", however, it seems the above average intelligent people are the only ones to have acknowledged this fact.

You are right Texas Carter inherited a hell of a recession from Gerry Ford but he quickly got the economy on the right track. As you can see from the graph employment began to steadily rise under his guidance.
