I have tried 4 or 5 players and some won't install or if they do they won't run, and if they run they won't play the MOV file that i have downloaded...
any freeware player that might work with 98se and play MPV files...?
thanks

i use klite megacodec (its encoding/decoding software to compliment windows media player and allow it to understand DVD format), i believe it is compatible with older O.S. you may try that. not sure but worth a try.

The best advice would be to get rid of Windows 98.
It amazes me how many people still have this running.
It is not supported by Microsoft and no new software is being made for it.

you are absolutley 100% correct..........
The players you will find for a 98 OS are gonna slow down your system
to a mere crawl if indeed you find 1..
Good luck though.
How do you know the specifications of the hardware on this 98 system? WOuld you please stop posting because just about everytime you do I *facepalm*
