I said I would have to take my kids into some serious consideration. Regardless, my kids will always be my kids, and usually relationships aren't for a lifetime anymore. Why would I move say 12 hrs away, just to want to move back if doesn't work. And do you think he's gonna help me get back, nooooo. I'm not saying that I absolutely wouldn't, but there is a 99% that I wouldn't. And from experience, I feel that the only way that I will get back into a relationship, is if I am friends with someone 1st. Its to hard to be real friends and hang out, get to know each other w/o dating if its long distance.

Syngar I understand what mom1st is saying, I have a Freshman Girl and I would not move her right now. I haven't always thought that way, but I moved my first two kids around alot and altho they are grown now, I think it made it hard for them. It is only a few more years and when she is off to college, then I am open to moving. But for now I would have to say stingflower, how soon could you be here?lololol KJ

Freshman in HIgh School there silly, she said she wouldn't move until she left 4 college.

i have relocated several times not for that reason and it is very hard for kids to pickup and move. i don't think i could ever expect a lady with kids to just up and move. kids should always be your first consideration.

not at the moment, no...by this time next year, i probably could for the 'right' one..but if he were the 'right' one, wouldn't he move to me...lol

I would never want Troy to be unhappy and I think he would hate Texas. He lives very close to the Jersey Shore and loves the water. I would hate to have him move here and be miserable... even though I think he would move here so we could be closer together. I am all about compromise as long as I can find a good job there. I would love to live near the ocean

syn to answer your question, I had her when I was 35, I guess that is a little later, but not too late I don't think. She has had it the best because I am older and wiser than I was with the first 2. She has a boyfriend and friends, she is in Pom Pons and Dance, How could a parent just uproot a child like that for their own selfish needs? I couldn't. I was wondering, do you have children?

your children did bring them selves into the world, they did not asked to be in the middle of every thing but untill they are out on there own you should consider thier feelings otherwise you might lose them completely.

for some it is not but tell a teenager that you are moving and all her friend and the life she has grown use to is gone. it is terible my daughter told me one time she was not going and she was going to take her money and buy the best cardboard box she could find and stay there. well she move with us but was very disruptive for the next year. grades fell, sports was a thing of the past, her life was never the same

syn, do you have kids? how can you understand a parent's responsibility to their children if you have none of your own?
i wonder, if someone had said, hell yeah, i'd move, kids be damned, they're going where i tell them to go, would that person be attacked for being a 'bad parent', lol
