Of course, Cute. If you've only been exchanging one or two liners then there's no real contact. But I don't do ultra-short emails as you can probably guess from the length of my posts. And if I get too many of them, I figure she's talking to about 10 other guys and doesn't want to take the time so I usually look elsewhere. Within a couple of serious emails, you can tell if there's real interest there. I never give a woman my number until after 3 significant letters between us. Then, I leave it up to her to call when she's ready.
In the internet dating "game", it's usually up to the man to make contact. From that point, the woman really determines the pace. It's much more scary for a woman to meet a man she met online, so it has to be when she's ready.
