cad .....no you don't have to pay. But ya might want to wink or message the people here to see what kind f response ya get, rather than waiting on them to contact you.

well ive sent a couple winks and a few messages, and some of the messages were just hey hows it going, ive recieved winks back but everyone just reads my messages and doesnt write back

May I suggest that you post outside the Oregon chat group...and into the main
forums, or GROUPS for hobbies or interests.
There is constant conversation in the chat room and sex and dating forums..
hang onto your hat! Those groups can get a little on the edge of good taste
for public posting...
Have fun, also try the introductions area...let the gals know that
you are here....rarely do the gals go searching...
The paid sites are a huge swste of money...no forums at all that are fun!
Piece ... of Fish is also free...however I do not like it as well as DH...

Well i went to the bar the other night and it was kinda fun, although i felt extremly shy i did meet a girl. unfortunately i was to drunk to think to get a number but at least i bought her a couple drinks and got her name

Well cad, now you have to go back and ger her number and see if you can really connect with her.
I never had much luck in the bars either.
But I have made a few friends on here just by getting involved in some of the discussions on here.

Check Oregon Chats, don't hesitate to add you comments and if you see some gals, email them. Tell them something or ask a question that could become a conversation starter. I don't think it's easy for males of females to email a total stranger, so give some clues to help get it started.  and keep the language fairly clean as well as the jokes

The pay sites are pretty much the same as here... you have to have something to say. Toss in a conversation starter or two. The conversation was your idea, and it is irritating for someone to say, "Hey, wanna talk?", followed by, "OK, what do you wanna talk about?" I've noticed here that a lot of people say in their profile that they don't respond to winks; that if you don't email, they won't write back. Give it a shot.

Could be that most here don't like the choices available?I don't see a whole lot of compatibility between anyone who uses this chat group.I see a -us,against them- ,syndrome going on.From my viewpoint,I see that the locals don't seem to be interested in non locals,and the others don't care one way or the other.Its too bad that who ever created this CHAT,didn't think to specify it was for people who moved here and call themselves Oregonians,or for people who are Oregonians by birth.
