I would travel, it depends on the man, and if there was a definite chance for a relationship, but it would have to be planned in advance, because I work, and do classes. But if the man cares enough, and wants to get together, something can be worked out between the 2 of us, after all that is what makes great partnerships, working together to achieve a goal or something great for the relationship's advancements

I think if you talk to someone and feel a real connection, any distance is worth traveling. However, at the moment with my busy life, I haven't seen my best friend that lives only 100 miles away. So I try to be realistic and just starting a new job, it will be a while before a real vacation can be taken. So while I am not excluding all long distance relationships from being a real possibility, but hoping to find someone close enough to meet on weekly date night basis to start with.

so any one got any cons on why it should not be done?
Long distance relationships are difficult. So often there has been ALOT of communication building up to that first encounter. You meet just to find the chemistry is awesome, etc. Well, then you just long to be with that other person more and more, and the distance then becomes more and more an issue. You both have lives that you cant just drop on an intuition. Just setting yourself up for heartache, unless you have the money to fly back and forth every weekend! Even 100+ miles makes it difficult to build a relationship.

i have to agree with u on that on too that is what went wrong with my last relationship i was gone more than iwas home and she could not go with me do to the fact that i was deployed and gone for months at a time or ever a year at a time. money is not the issue about flying to see someone but i dont want to waste it if it isnt someone i can see myself with or worth all the traveling, but in 2 or 3 months the way everything is going on with the country i might be saying that money is bo issue so who knows right?

In the long run a long distance relationship will get complicated.
The distance itself is difficult, so if there are any other problems, the only way to work through them is over the phone.
Distance gets expensive.
And most of us work, getting all that time off became harder and harder.
somebody has to be willing to move ,if things work out.
And you cant just go and hang out for coffee.
Other then that ,a long distance relationship is hard but doable.
The reason mine failed was not because of distance So...

Long distance relationships are difficult on so many levels. Sometimes at the end of the day, you just need to connect, have a hug, feel like snuggling up to the good movie thats on that night, etc, and long distance relationships cannot offer that. They make any impulse, spontaneity impossible. Everything has to be planned.
