I don't think there is anything wrong on the first date. the problem is, if your end up getting into a relationship, alot of peopl base sex off of that and that only goes so far.

Thats true ,you might get a" is that all there is" at the end of sex on the first date .Those types will judge you on that first sexual encounter.

That is a difficult question to answer. I would have to say that each situation is different. If you have talked for awhile to get to know the person, then it may be ok. If however you havent talked but once or twice before, and dont know each other very well, I would say no.

why would i put myself out there like that!!! I think its important to know each other before the sex thing,unless its a mutual thing where you both want sex and dont care if you see each other again,but for me,that isnt going to happen,i think a good relationship starts with respect not sex....JMO.....

I've had sex on the first date... It leads you into a false sense of closeness. You think WOW! I have connected!!! Then they never call or e-mail again. Its like you dropped off the face of the earth. Its hurtfull.... and confusing. It leaves you without closure. If there is chemestry there... and similar interests... then the anticipation of sex is much better when it does happen. I have learned.. "Fools rush in..."
Never wanna be hurt like that again....
u may actually be right. tried it, thought i would feel the same..man....the feelings just faded..a nd she thought im a bad guy. it would be wise to wait abit, i mean try...

Many people have different agendas as to what dating should consist of. Sex on a 1st date is good but it doesn't mean it will result in anything substantial. If sex is all you want, then don't waste other people's time trying to pretend you want to know them at all.
For me... I prefer to wait a couple of dates until I know there is a real connection; whether it last short or long term.
But if it works for you on 1st date, then I guess its good for you and your partner(s).
