Ok Ok - I would love some romance, but would also be great to meet people. I have a weekend (17th-19th) to myself -- and no other commitments at this time. Let's get a group together and go for a drive to see the changing colors, go for a walk and coffee (or a drink - either is fine by me), go see a movie -- would love to see Nights in Rodanthe (sp), but that is a chick flick, so would be agreeable to a different movie.
I would just love some adult time and meet new people - the only thing in my small town is 3 bars (with the same people sitting on the barstools). Not that I am against going out for a drink because I am not, but a change of scenery would be nice,  Sorry, I guess I am really needing some time out

Well it sounds like you have been talking to the wrong people and someone may have lied to you There are some of us out here that are looking to meet someone too but you can't push something that's not there. Unfortunately there are a lot of guys out there who contact you and just want one thing and their not afraid to tell you. I find that disrespectful to have that kind of conversation with someone who you don't know but at least their straight up so I can politely say thanks but no thanks. Us gals have to be careful. Try to get to know us first before coming on too strong...

 I agree completely! Females do need to be more careful when meeting someone online, we're damned either way. If we're not careful and something happens, then it's our fault and we asked for it by not taking precautions, if we take precautions then we're pompous b*tches! no win situation. I don't know why guys (probably girls to, but I wouldn't know lol) send a message, "hey sexy, get your beautiful a** over here and we'll hook up" or "hey sexy, how's tight your ass" or my favorite "you just haven't met me yet, I'm DIFFERENT, I'll make you so happy you'll never look at another guy" ... c'mon! do they really think these lines are going to work? I usually hit block when I get these guys, I figure if they are that disrespectful then I don't need to be respectful back or waste my time by answering them. My question is, why do these guys think they can talk like this online when you know damn well they would never say it in person... and if they did, then who the hell do they think they are? lol unreal!
