if the guy had any sense of humor at all he could have taken one look at you and said "rough day ?" and you guys could have laughed about it and still enjoyed the coffee.
It would have made a great story to retell too, hey, remember the first time I met you and you looked like one of the mud people from Woodstock?
Sometimes life throws us curve balls, if the guy can't roll with it, his loss.

Men seriously need to get over this fantasy version of us or what they think we should be.....the reality is that we dont always look like porn stars....we do normal everyday things just like everyone else and yes we actually work hard and get dirty sometimes too....everyday sexy is a different thing from porn sexy....honestly maybe he wasnt really that into you to begin with cause if he was he would have at least got a little "mud wrestling" sexual fantasy out of that too...my ex use to find just about any way I was sexy he would always find some sexual thing to whatever i looked like at the moment to relate too....lol he loved when i came home from the gym with my hair messy and freshly out of a pony tail and looking all sweaty...said i looked like I just had a good romp in the sheets. lol

On my goodness......I had forgotten about this thread.........funny thing I have seen this guy a few times around town.......he is forever apologizing and asking to meet again, he has even showed up at the coffee shop looking for me the kids that work there just tell him they have no idea who he is talking about

I like dirty girls.
Dirty girls work with you instead of shopping while you do all the work and they won't get mad if you track in mud.

Yes, as I am finding out on this internet meeting, haven't got any dating out of it yet, but it has many challenges. If I was the guy and you showed up, well being normal you would know something happened and have the common curtesy to ask. I have some challenges myself with this media, the women email once and don't have the common curtesy to email you back and at least say that there is no chemistry.
Now as a guy, if I was running late and looked like I had crap all over me, I would call the coffee shop and have them annouce your name and tell them you have a very important phone call. I would tell you the story and I could run late or do it another time.
So ends my 1 cent.

Who knows, if you did stay for coffee maybe you would have meet someone who really don't mind a little (or in your case a lot, lol) of dirt. That said I like to do a bit of gardening myself so the next time you’re in this happens give me a call I would be proud to meet you for coffee dirty dungarees and all.
