enjoy anymore? Enjoy for the mere pleasure of enjoyments sake? I see so much analyzing going on here.
So many why's when's what's how's.
If we just opened ourselves up to the joys of living and enjoying life I think a lot of the answers would never even come to mind.
I asked my best friend recently what man in her life she truly had loved. She said a name and then said he would have been perfect BUT...
But, but, whats with that. All she wanted to do was change the things about him that she didn't find perfect for her-- I was like--no one is perfect. We all have our quirks. That is what makes us who we are. No one is made perfect for someone else. We can only strive to be the most perfect we can be for ourselves--she didn't have a clue as to what I was trying to say.
She is like many I have read on here--looking for the PERFECT potential mate for them.
That is so unrealistic.
When I am finally ready to settle down with one person, I don't want it to be someone who is trying to be the perfect mate for me, but someone that works to be the most/best he can be in this big universe of ours.

I enjoy analyzing.
I think it's fun, and can be pretty helpful in understanding people, and helping relationships.
Of course, I'm an engineer and that's kinda the way we roll.

PS.....we like other stuff, too.

Wow, HotCowGirl4U, that's a lot of seriousness and analysis for a thread that starts out requesting us to lighten up. I'm just sayin'.

lol maybe so, but I just don't understand all the why's and what's I see on this site.
So much boo hooing.
I just say get a grip and know what is wanted, go after it, live your life, and then things will fall into place and ones life will be as it is to be.

Nothing better than enoying a cold beer, a sneaky fart and a crappy movie. Yes I have no problem just enjoying the moment, whatever it might be.

If I was little younger, and lived closer.... We could be un-perfect together....I can be serious, but I have a 'lite' side, also. You sound like you could be a lot of fun.

Yes, CowGirl, there is way too much bashing and whining but I encounter a lot of levity out here too. Sometimes it's necessary to introduce the fun when things get too serious or if people start bickering. I say we all take a breath, a sip, and a moment to reflect.

I agree with the OP. I don't think there is any such thing as the perfect mate. People are just so different, coming from various walks of life and with such different experiences and everything. I don't think any two people are always going to agree on everything, have the same exact likes and dislikes, etc.
I also think this is a Good Thing - for if they did, where is the opportunity for them to grow together, to expand one another's horizons, to challenge each other? It sounds like an enticing idea but like the lovely cowgirl said...it's about as unrealistic as it gets.
