Hm, Ren....not sure why the dragonfly was there. Its happened to a couple people lately. Appeared for some reason and had never happened before....maybe a higher power...I don't question it, I just take it all in...its all good. It could be because we're friends. So, thats a good thing...ya think?

This question came up for me a few years back also.
I will try to share with you my thoughts and perception of what Loves definition is to me and how it applies to all those who cross my Life Path.
To begin I think I would explain what I believe Love is not.
It is not walking around or existing with another in a state of constant blissful, eurphoric high.
Love is the composite of all the human emotions both positive and negative that we experience when relating to another person.
To arrive at a definition of love I believe you can relate it to or compare it to the making of a toss salad, vegetable soup, cake etc. Many ingredients must be added together to bring about the desired dish.
Love in this case being the desired dish, emotions being the available ingredients in which we use either consciously or subconsiously when combined together or seperately produce the desired dish....Love.
Changing any one of the necessary ingredients (emotions) will change the outcome of the dish (Love).
Also the amounts of the ingredients added determine the size of the desired dish. Example; If you add less ingredients you get a smaller dish, If you add more ingredients you get a larger dish.
Using substitutes can greatly effect the taste or the outcome of the desired dish.
For example. If you are attempting to make a sweet hershey chocolate cake complete with strawberries and whipped cream on top (unconditional love) and you eliminate all the sugar (positive emotions) and substitue it with salt and use lemons (negative emotions) instead of sweet strawberries,
although you still have made yourself a cake (Love)it has been altered from the state of being a sweet,(un-conditional love) chocolate cake to being an unsweet, bitter cake. (Love lacking the emotions to fulfill our needs.)
So in summing up the definition of Love. How we both feel, and express, love toward someone special OR others in our lives, as well as how we recieve Love in return, is dependent on which emotions are being used either consciously or subconsiously to generate the expression of Love.
Thus, there are many types of Love, Degrees of Love.
I Love my spouse/Life Partner, I Love my Parents, I love my child, I love my pet, I love my aunt/uncle, I love my job, I love my car, I love my lover, I love my best friend etc.................
Although each of these are a compotent of mixed emotions they all produce or generate Love of some form and degree.
Universal Law mandates that we should Love everyone and bring them no harm.
God desires that we love un-conditionally as that is the purest form of love composed of all the positive emotions we posses void of all the negative emotions.
This is the type of love that I, personally try to acheive and apply in my relationship with a life partner as well as all others who make up my little world.
May we all find, experience and know love in its purest form...........
