well, something along the lines described by writerb. words cannot express or capture. but this expression, this state, condition, or whatever "it is" does have something to do with 'time' and 'memory'. i do know that it can be eternal, can be mistaken, can be lost, can be forgotten, can grow, among other possibilities. though it can even extend or complicate, or even disjoint both "time" and "memory"!!
ok i know that was thoroughly confusing and/or confused. i do know that i have loved and am still dealing with it's "after-effects/affects". and i both crave for it again, but am also deathly afraid.
anyways....
if you are a reader and have a thing for both poetry and theory, you will "love" Roland Barthes, 'a lover's discourse'

If you are not sure whether or not it exists, it does not exist for you. If it is mythological, it does not exist for you. If someone has to explain it to you, it never existed for you. Congratulations to those few of you that know and best wishes to those of you that do not, in your quest if it is your quest. I thought that's what most of you were looking for. You wont see it. You will know when you really have it when you can really define it.

The only unconditional love that I have experienced is from my dogs no matter what they are happy to see me ( cause I feed them lol).I dont think you can define love it is either there or it isnt.

Having been there 3 times in my live.I have always been told ''there is in every relationship one who loves and one who is loved''.Having been on both sides of this delema I can truthly say it is better to be the one who is loved than to be the one who loves.
My first was my best friend he loved me unconditionally for 22 yrs .There was absolute trust in that relationship.
My second was love at first site on my part and I believe with him also.This was one of those loves that makes you weak in their presense.You tremble at their touch.You don,t have to talk to communicate. HE WAS MARRIED TO SOMEONE ELSE.
The third was a may- december romance. I was 48 he was 28. We lived in perfect harmony for 10 yrs .I got old and he needed children . We part friends. He married a nice lady his age who was of childbearing age.It amazed me that we stayed together longer than most people stayed married.He amazed me with his mind, his devotion and responsible attitude.We shared everything ,work, money, and play.If one of us came in from work before the other .supper was started and the other stepped right up and helped.When he sat on the sofa he insisted i sit with him .He was my constant companion. Now I am looking for A COMPANION CALL???? WHEN YOU GET OLD ENOUGH TO GET PAST BEING IN ''HEAT''Love has a wonderful meaning.Don,t base your life on the 10 min of passion Find someone who can have stimulaing conversation and a tender touch and does not have to get blitzed to crawl in the bed.
Love is caring more for someone else than you do for yourself.
Love is a slow soothing massage. running your fingers through her hair.
Giving her that slow low whistle even if she is knee deep in mud
Love is slipping into the shower or helping her relax in the tub
Thanking him for mowing the grass or Her for cooking.
Calling and saying don,t cook I will bring something home.
