OK explain this to me. How does a sentence such as "Hi, saw your profile and thought I'd say hello" differ from an "automated" wink? It's only a way to get your attention and have you look at my profile to see if you might be interested. What if the winks were changed to send an automated email with that same sentence?
I just don't understand the problem. I we were in a room full of people and I wanted to meet you, I might try to catch your eye from across the room of walk up to you and say hello. It's the same thing....

If winks were wrong to send, these sites would not keep them. Basically wink means "hello, I am here, can you read my profile to see if we are compatible, and should get to know each other?" , since there are thousands and thousands of men and women are on these dating sites. So many to choose from, such a little time, few tools created by these dating sites, for FREE, to help us find our soulmates. I think we should thank these dating sites, and if someone send a wink, we should check their profiles and send a response about are we interested or not in knowing more about the person. I am some one who see the glass half full, not half empty. How do you see it?
