No, some of us actually mean this, just ask the guys I have been friends with for the last 25 years. If I want some one to back off, I tell them back off, get lost..........

Lmao JZ...I think it simply means there was no physical chemistry...which I believe is different then being a" handsome or beautiful being". I think chemistry at first can come from how we laugh together..how we are being listened to...and if we have the same morals. At my age ...( a young 49er..lol) the priorities would be different then someone JZ's age...and thats ok . Thats how life changes. I say the importance of being a friend should not be underestimated. I know my friends are cherished!

If *I* say "I just want to be friends," I mean this: "I really do not find myself that attracted to you but do not want to be such a grinch that I hurt your feelings about it. By the way, I am also hoping you lose my phone number."
A woman who is certain she's got a good catch will not let him slip off by imposing the "just friends" title on him. Of course she wants to get involved before the next gal gets smarter and luckier!
