I was just wondering this because I have done a couple of the party lite parties and mostly get no responses from people. Do people not RSVP anymore? Have done other parties too with the same thing. You never know how many are going to show up and who to expect because people just won't tell you one way or another. I remember a time when my mom use to have these kind of parties and the house would be full of guests. What happen? Doesn't anyone get out anymore or do they just get in front of the computer all day? Any suggestions because I have another party coming up next Sunday with hardly any RSVP's yet. Let me know what you think.

People don't RSVP anymore. I usually call my guests a few days ahead of time to remind them. Also I have done book parties instead of having a party at my home. It's not as fun though. In the winter months people just want to stay home and not venture too far. My mom use to have tupperware and home Interior parties all the time. Might just be our age groups now. Now I don't know too many people to invite anymore.

I don't go to "parties" where things are sold. I want to go a real party, where people eat, drink, and be merry!
I prefer phone invitations to mail.
