I came to this web site almost a year ago hoping to meet “the one.” But so far I haven’t even met one person on her that seems like they are real about making connections and starting a real relationship. I have plenty of offers for one night stands and casual sex, but that is not what I am looking for. I actually want a real relationship with a real girl. why did i join? all of the above. unfortunately i have yet to meet someone who is as they present themselves to be here. i think people have a hard time describing themselves, so they use generalities like "easy going", "fun to be with", "laid back", "easy to talk to", etc... and then when you meet they are completely shy or withdrawn, or really b*tchy. i dont think that is the case with all the women here, but largely thats my experience.

All the above bit mostly dating and I agree with xangel_kissesx, you have to talk to someone in person to get to know them. I understand that women have to email/chat on im until you feel comfortable before you meet someone. But, I email quite a few women and never get an answer. I also think that most women window shop. They just look and don't try to communicate.

Definatly lookin for love & one that will last a life time. Women nowdays don't want anything permant. If all I wanted was dating or sex etc I can go into any bar & have hot women all over me,but I'm just not into that. I went through that phase after my son's mom ran out on us & I gave up on love cause I thought she took all I had with her.(that was over 18 years ago)I still get hit on alot at events etc. Only been in bars a few times & get hit on there too. Women think I'm nuts for wantin more than just sex. Now I do love sex still every day,several times a day,lol. I just want it with the same woman each time & know we'll be together forever. I found I still have tons of love left for that right woman!!

A great first date. Well after almost a year on date hookup, I finally met someone who I thought would be a good person to know. So I took the leap of faith and asked the girl out and she accepted my invite. Yay!
She came over to my house and I introduced her to lone star my horse. They hit it off really good, some people really get intimidated by an animal that big. Julie took to him right away. So I saddled him up and took her for a ride. Guys having a girl on the back of a horse is a great way to get them to hold on to you, tightly. Really there is not any thing else to hold on to, so if they don’t want to fall off then they haft to hold on to you tight. (Awesome)
So we took a tour of the area I grew up in from horseback. I think she was impressed with lone star more then me. We returned to my house and I made us lunch. Nothing fancy just grilled burgers and french fries, but riding horses works up an appetite. We talked over lunch, I mostly listened but I really felt a connection with Julie. By the way her photos do not do her justice.
We decided to watch a movie, so put in Bottle Rocket. We didn’t make it through the first scene till we were making out. And this is the part that surprised me more then anything else. I am not the kind of guy to make out with a girl the first time we meet. But like I said I Really felt a connection.
We ended up going to Arizona mills chilling out there for a bit, but I can only handle the mall for so long. We decided to go to the top of south mountain a watch the cities light. When we arrived to the park entrance, we found out that was the one Sunday night out of the month they were closed. That sucked so we ended up going to another spot to watch the lights.
We talked for quite a wile. I feel like we really opened up to each other. Then the cops came. Not for us but that kinda ruined the whole vibe so we decided to go to the park a walk around the lake. That was too cold for us so we ended up at applebees drinking beer and watching football.
Julie gave me a ride home, We said our goodbyes and gave each other a good night kiss and decided that we will be doing it again soon.
So that was a good date with a great girl. I hope this encourages people out there that there are real People on here that want a real relationship
