i really understand where ur coming from, im a very touchy feely person and its very hard or me not to be tempted to date some men that have asked me out even when i dont feel connected to them just because i miss being held and touched. i really want to share that with someone speacial... well i guess its good in a way because when i do find him it will be all the more speacial...

I almost wasnt gonna read this thread..but it drew me in..Yeah..I miss the hugs.. Oh sure, my cat hugs me from time to time, rubs her neck on mine..but it's not the same as another human being.
I'm not one to push religion on anyone..but church services seem like a great place to meet and greet friends..and I would imagine hugs go along with that.
I'm a member of double A (not to be confused with triple A , although many people, I'm sure go thru triple A as a result of not going to double A when they should have ..lol )
Anyway..its customary after meetings to meet and greet, shake hands..hug..usually the gals have to stand on a chair or table to hug me..lol..havent been to a meeting in a while..maybe its high time I did..if nothing else., than for the human contact/experience.

Tru : i live in rural Montana and don't see another human sometimes for days and i know how a warm hug can make you feel. It has been known too make sick people well. I really miss hugs.

Crafty, I agree with you about the hugs from children. I have 3 grandchildren, and when they come running to me and jump into my arms and give me big hugs and kisses, I feel such warmth, such love from them. I miss and long for the comfort and warmth of another human being so much. I take what they give so willingly. I have always enjoyed giving massages to the man in my life, and since I have been alone now for more than 2 years, I miss that contact very much.

Well if all of you can say this stuff and no one thinks its crazy, how about this, and not sexual either. I sleep with three dogs and sometimes In a sleepy haz will roll over and there is a weiner dog but in my sleepy haze I feel a closeness like my woman is there and then I wake up, and say get off me dog.. lol TJ::
