Let me tell you a story. My cousin who was married for 18 yrs or so, who husband drank a lot and would beat her from time to time. Finally she left him and got a divorce. Some months later she started dating a guy 11 yrs younger. We all thought what is she getting herself into. But she did know what she was doing for they fell in love got married had 2 children and have been married for over 20 yrs and just as much in love if not more than the day they got married.
So I say go with your feelings and don't worry what other ppl think or say. If he makes you happy and makes you feel good about yourself, then you are doing the right thing. Good luck.

well i am so new at this but this is a real kick in the gut,I got a e-mail from a guy that I winked at ( not on this site)and he write back that he like my pic and profile,he lives to far to come often,but if I let him make love to me that I want ever need marriage and He will be all I want I wrote him back and told him no thanks that the iceing after you bake the cake. He 61 and looks worth than me  dose he think I nuts. I no someone want a real lady or I will stay single

Hey everyone!
Just finished reading all the replies here! It is great to hear all the good stuff,
especially from the guys! Glad to know you are still out there! Thanks!
It is very hard sometimes...unless the guy just comes out with it...to be sure
of anyone and their intentions. I have a whole year to wait for someone I met
online here. Just have to wait and see, and hope for the best. In the meantime,
heck, I have plenty to do.....thinking about moving westwards next year to get closer
to my girls & their families.
I will never do a one nighter, want a REAL ltr.......so I am willing to wait!
I'm good at it! At this stage in my life..I'm not rushing into anything. No need to.

I had to edit my earlier response...just "talked" some more
with my man...he's the best! I am soooo lucky!
I AM gonna wait for him...it's only 10 months now, so no
biggie! Color me crazy...but there it is! If it turns
out that we weren't meant to be together, also no biggie,
cuz then it will be his loss! And what did I give up...
not much really...because I am in no rush.
I am very strong and determined, and NO ONE can steal my spirit!
That I give to God! Oh, did I mention this man is a Christian?
Trust me...for ME...this is the big difference! To ME...it makes
ALL the difference in the world! He and I talk alot about our
beliefs...and soo much more! It is SO refreshing!
I wish this same kind of relationship for all those who want it,
and I don't mean the long distance thing...it is the meeting of
the minds, having that kindred spirit!!
Just don't settle...go for the best, cuz you deserve it!!!
