Ok, i was at a party a couple weeks ago... and im not a party girl.. so i felt a little uncomfortable.. but all the guys were pretty much trashed and wasted.. and mind you it was an ARMY unit party.. and they all were running by slapping my a** and yelling AIRBORNE!!!
So any military guys know what they meant by it....?
I know when you guys are airborne and you slap eachother when its your turn to jump... or good job slap... but why me?
Was it a compliment or were they making fun of me? Lol
not that i care really.. just wandering.

Nothing--just letting off steam--its a guy thing. Most girls are just the target of all that male stupid stuff. You need to sit down and not allow them to touch you. If you aren't a party girl--stay away from the wild guys letting off steam. It wasn't anything but hormones and alcohol--or whatever. After a while it gets boring.

as an ex airborne ranger, i have never slapped a womans a** and yelled airborne. must be a new fad. the only person who slaps you on your way out the door is the saftey jumper whos slapping you out the door in case you freeze up. these kids must be picking on you and were prolly trying to tag team you. you better be careful before you end up being passed around like a party favor...

no there is no more to the story.. i went to a party with 2 of my friends... and all these people were there i didnt know and i was the DD (Designated Driver) and i was like the only sober one there.. and i would get up to get some chips and dip or go out side for a cig.. and every time i got up they would smack my a** and say Airborne... some had girlfriends.. but the girlfriends didnt care... they were like wtf is he doing? i was like you tell me.. i have no clue... but i mean it happened like 10 times through the night... i finally left b/c they were just getting to drunk and annoying... and im not about drama and immaturity.
