It was probably a compliment, Air Force guys I knew didn't do it to me. Course my ex was 6'3" and 275 and very jealous, that might have helped at all our parties.
Leaving was the right thing to do.

Silly girl! Like many in the military, they felt entitled to violate your rights and freedoms simply because they claim to be the "defenders" of those same rights and freedoms. It's like the ones who claim to be fighting for your freedom, yet threaten you with violence for doing something like refusing to say the Pledge of Allegience.
Get used to it....You're young.

Like many in the military they felt entitled to violate your rights and freedoms ...are you for real? You seriously did not mean to speak of "many in the military" to be guilty of this. The "many in the military" I know, respect their country and those people in their country and the rights they DEFENDED! Don't know what service men you are speaking of, but to put down "many in our military" is an absolute disgrace in my book!

actually that culture tends to be more prevalent in people who think that they are some kinda wanna-be hero, such as football players and...ahem...anarchist biker types. In the military it tends to be more of a different type of culture, in that such situations are not generally tolerated, but can sometimes exist in some of the more extreme subgroups, such as special forces, where women tend to be in rare numbers and the relative isolation caused by deployments can often cause the development of "open" relationships. While I sincerely doubt that their intentions were honorable in slapping the OP's ass, and to be truthful, there was probably a bit of a sexual connotation to it in the fact that it signifies that she is eventually going to find herself being passed around a barracks or two(and this makes me recall her post about men in uniform, in which I outlined the concept of a uniform chaser).
To the OP: If you don't want to get yourself twisted up and used for sex, I would recommend you find new friends to hang out with. You've obviously been labeled a highly suggestible person in their eyes, and if you don't be careful, they may take advantage of an alcohol induced stupor to essentially get you to do things you wouldn't normally do when you are sober, either willingly or unwillingly...with close friends, we have joked around with the "good game" a** slap on occasion, but to be honest, that is only reserved for close friends, not just someone who shows up to the party and is obviously uncomfortable, as you state you were...they took advantage of this, and you should assume that in future, you may be taken advantage of for much more if you don't separate yourself from these people.
You are young, and while it is a good thing to be sexually experimental at your age, you should be careful that your experimental nature doesn't get you burned. Never go to a party alone, and always make sure your friends have your back in all situations, and that you leave with your friends, unless you actually choose(and not as the result of near alcohol poisoning) to leave with a guy. Safe sex doesn't just mean using contraceptives. It also means not putting yourself in a position to be abused. Good luck.
To Moral: please stop generalizing those of us who are either in, or have been in the military. You don't know my history, nor that of any other man/woman who has served, and until you've walked a mile in our shoes, don't presume to know what we do or do not feel entitled to do. And I am not the type who would use violence on you for not saying the pledge of allegiance, but the truth of the matter is that it shows that your loyalty is not with your country, when the chips are down. While I, like you, may not appreciate many of the things that my government does, I will never be disloyal to my country, which is the people whom that government is supposed to serve.
I took the same oath as many others when I swore to support and defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and while I would love to do something about some of those domestic enemies, I am not a politician. You lead an organized campaign to improve the system, and people such as myself would fall in line behind you and support such things, but the problem with most of your rants is simply that they are disorganized, and they are meaningless as such. You can't fix the neighborhood until you fix your own home first.
