I am off for 3 weeks and have been checking out the forums the last couple of days. There seems to be a lot of bashing of the opposite sex from the opposite sex. If you are wanting to find a good person to spend some time, or the rest of your life with, why would you want to meet someone who bashes you off the start? Don't get me wrong, there seem to be a lot of people who are genuinely looking for the right thing too, but it's hard to find them through all the "crap". Is there anyone else who sees any of this??

I am who I am, and if I feel strongly, I say it. If I'm attractive keeping my mouth shut, then he's not seeing me. I recently went out with a guy and we got into a heated conversation- not yelling or bashing- but it was something upon which we disagreed. It didn't end the date, nor our contact; on the contrary, it gave us each some insight into the other person. JMO

And there are topics that come up when you're dating that really, who cares? What is significant to me might not matter a drop to someone else.
