I agree, the only way that a FWB would work is if they had their own place and job no freeloaders allowed. But I would like to have a personal attachement to them as well, and see them at their place.

no way. Then the friendship part would be gone, and you would be left with empty sex.

If you're going to do the FWB its best your child(s) doesnt see him before he closes his eyes and opens them...Kids dont need the "games" adults play

My answer also is no! STDS, conflict of interest, how it might affect my daughters, plus I'm not a slut! and well i have to get to know the person and develop something in order to feel the attraction needed for something so personal and close.

Not, to lady like. I am priceless and would never have sex with any man except me husband. So my opinion save your treasures until you are married.
Thumbs up to beu24. I agree wholeheartedly with you. Having SEX before marriage is asking for nothing but trouble. I know, I've been there done that and more then once. I didn't learn by my mistakes until recently.

Let me just say....I, in my opinion, like FWB. First if i have them over then they are just friends in the eyes of my children. Before anyone has the chance to come back on me for that.....I have mostly guy friends because women are VERY petty when it comes to unimportant arguements. Having said that I am not nor will I ever be a ho. These men know from the get go that it is what it is, and no more. So...it can work out in the long run.

My answer is almost identical to yours except that I have 3 kids living with me. I think it is sooo much easier that way. Who knows what time will tell.

Who ever said that having a friend with benefits means your child has to be involved? My daughter has never been subjected to any man I've been involved with. We already give up everything for our children, why do we have to sacrifice our sex lives too? As long as its on your own time and your child doesn't suffer from your decision, I think its perfectly okay. The word "friends" in friends with benefits could be used loosely as well. Its just a phrase to describe a no strings attached adult sexual relationship. It doesn't have to be a friend that you've been close with and risk losing by having sex. Its a person you choose to be with on a regular basis to satisfy your sexual needs. As long as your safe, its completely normal and can be healthy. Out of all the people I know, no one other than single parents are more deserving of a little fun every now and then. I for one have no hang ups about checking my emotions at the door. Friends with benefits is not a situation where those who wear their hearts on their sleeves should be involved. It's definitely not for the faint of heart! It's raw passion at its best. Its all about the urges and needs of the people involved and succumbing to them. I enjoy sex and have no intention on giving up on the one thing that I crave as much as air, food and water.
