His writing......it is so good I swear he was there!....If you don't believe me read it your self and then tell me I am wrong......but, you must start with book #1....any of the other 24 can be read in any order....If any book ever made me belive in Jesus...it is the Casca series.

Just think about THIS FACT: if you were an AMAZONIAN or an ESKIMO, and you
were told that you should believe in a Scripture that said that Abraham was
asked (by God) to KILL HIS OWN SON, and at the last minute gave that son a
REPRIEVE, and not only that, if you were asked to believe in the "fact" that
God the Father, this GOOD GOD, sent his ONLY SON TO BE HORRIBLY TORTURED AND
KILLED INHUMANELY, so that our SINS WOULD BE WASHED AWAY, when he could just
as well have DONE IT WITH A SNAP OF HIS FINGERS, how would you REACT TO THIS
INSANITY? And there are HUNDREDS OF MORE QUANDRIES, INCONSISTENCIES and
DOWNRIGHT CONTRADICTIONS BETWEEN THE OLD AND THE NEW TESTAMENTS, and I do
not have the time or the inclination to get into these at the moment, unless,
of course, there are some inquiries and interest in the subject, maybe at a
later date...........no, I believe in a JUST GOD, a MERCIFUL GOD, and I WOULD
NEVER WANT TO BELIEVE IN THE GOD OF THE OLD OR THE NEW TESTAMENTS, although,
I have to admit, I try to live my life using the teachings of the 2 Commandments
and the Beatitudes (the Sermon on the Mount) although, I confess that I am a
sinner, like most, and not always able to uphold that standard........remember,
Jesus said that God would be more likely to forgive the admitting sinner than the
one who brags how good of a Christian he is.........I'm a cultural Roman Catholic,
which was the MAINSTREAM Christian Church for OVER 1500 years, and yes, I'm a
CAFETERIA CATHOLIC, and PROUD OF IT, after all, if you read the HISTORY, the
early CHRISTIANS or CATHOLICS (means "UNiversal Church") WERE "CAFETERIA
CATHOLICS" as well, they begged borrowed and stole their doctrines and theologies
from the surrounding Near Eastern religions, and even from India and Egypt, and
THAT'S A FACT!! A HISTORICAL FACT! And they even dug into Greco-Roman philosophy
to establish their beliefs and iron things out........from Augustine, the founding
father, and Origen (who used Plato, Socrates, etc) to Aquinas, who, when the
founding beliefs were collapsing, reverted to more Aristotilians philosphy to
keep the faith going and it saved the Catholic Church for a few more hundred
years, until, of course, Copernicus and Galileo upset the apple cart, and the
Protestants came in with their MILITANT brand of Christianity, like the Zen
Buddhists perverted the peaceful teachings of Buddha into a more militant
(shogun) religion, and that created a scourge of genocide across the world in
the last 500 years! What the muslims need is NOT a REFORMATION, but we ALL
NEED A NEW ENLIGHTENMENT!!
