19 and 22 are way too young. They haven't lived life.
Don't forget to bring Pampers and a pacifier with you.

I have a friend who is 19 years old. He wants to be with me. But I'm worried if that's a good idea. He makes me feel special by tellin me I'm beautiful, wonderful, and perfect all the time. He's always there when I need someone to talk to. Especially the last few weeks. I've been through a serious struggle with post partum after having my son on November 20th. But this guys age and inexperience with kids worries me since I have 2 children. But he makes me believe he will do right by me and my kids. And now last night he said "I love you". What do I do? Do I give him a chance or break his heart and possibly lose a good friend?

Only you can answer that, what do you feel for him? Do you love him, or are you grateful for his support during your tough times, and can you in your heart tell the difference between the 2 feelings. Do you think there is a chance at a true relationship between the 2 of you. Since you are already showing doubts maybe you should slow down and see what developes.

He's 19 way to young to take on any kind of responsibility like children from another man, let go of him give him the chance to live his life, if its for real he will be there no matter what and the two of you will have something special

Age is only a number. 11 years is not that far off. Men do that all of the time. Why is a woman looked down upon whenever she decides to date a younger man. Love is not determined by how old a person is. But if it bothers you so much don't do it. Following the norm and worrying about everyone elses preconceived notions of what a good match is may stop you from having a meaningful relationship. Follow your heart

well... how do you feel about him? if your feelings go further than a supportive friend, give him a chance. he doesn't need to jump right into father mode to be with you. if he's met your kids already, things don't need to change with it.
i've been hanging out with this one kid most of the year (he's 22), but i don't consider us dating or anything yet. he's never met my daughter, but he will in january when he comes up here for a few days. he lives in chicago, so we don't see each other all the time.
i say give it a shot. just have fun with it in the beginning. let things take their course.

A 19 YO kid is likely to stick your children into the spokes of his Huffy. ACCIDENTALLY! Tell him you love him but have no plans for ever touching his weenie.

I'm not sure what a 30 year old and a 19 year old would have in common so hard to see how he would fall into a very good friend category to begin with. 11 years isnt that bad of an age difference when both people are adults, however a 19 year old boy is just that ... a boy.

I can't help but ask this but what do you have to offer him? What's in it for him besides sex with a cougar, staying at your pad, spending your money, and taking care of your kids? I don't see anything but a parasitic relationship here.

i cant beleive this is actually a question. yes,age IS just a number, once they're in their ealy 20's,maybe. but maybe he's so "into you" because he's never been in love. he's still mentally AND physically growing up. how can you be comfortable with that? what is his social life like? for example,if a situation came up where he had to watch your kids for half a day,is he comfortable with that? and how does a 19 yr old provide financially? seems like what you really need to do is sit him down and ask him questions that he DOESNT want to hear. a discussion. to a 19 yr old, great sex to them is what they think a relationship is.
