Ohia...can't argue with more exercise...okay, we will hold you accountable to daily hula.
Me? I resolved to minimize my procrastination and set realistic meaningful goals. I have a list of long and short term goals for myself that I update throughout the year. I also resolve to be less of a workaholic and have more down time to enjoy life and not take life too seriously.
Anyone else want to share their thoughts?

I made 3
1.to quit smoking..going on 15 days without one
2.lose some weight

Wow! Good for you on the 15 days! Keep at it! 
I gained weight after I broke my leg and found the only diet that ever worked for me - Weight Watchers Flexpoint - and online was great since I'm not a group-joiner for stuff like that. You can track your success with graphs which is really encouraging. I also liked the idea that I can eat almost anything I wanted - just in moderation! And I took up hula and Tahitian for fun exercise - I hate gyms and don't have time for marathons anymore. I love hula so much that I will continue that for the rest of my life. So find a diet that is healthy and offers you food you actually like, and find exercise that you enjoy. Keep us posted on your success - I know you can do it!

With regards to your New Year Resolutions...as Ohia stated...GOOD FOR YOU! I heard of the difficulties of quitting smoking...and you are doing a good job...keep it up...and keep us posted too!

Hey Ohia...still doing your hula?. I heard the weight watcher's program you selected is a very good program...very reasonable to follow...I have friends at work who are on it...one of them loss 24 pounds in 9 weeks...and this included the holidays. Good luck to you!

Hey Goodheart! Well, I DID say you can hold me accountable, didn't I? 
Ok, truth, no not EVERY day - still trying - but doing pretty good. Getting ready for the World Hula Conference this summer so another reason to dance a lot. Just had an 8 hour workshop to learn the required entrance chants and hulas.
How are other people's resolutions going?

Ohia - I'm glad to hear you are still doing "hula"...and have plans to participate this summer in the World Hula Conference is an honor...you are to be commended! Atta girl...you can do it! Tell us about the World Hula Conference. Where/when is it held...purpose/goals of having the hula conference...and why you enjoy it so much!
Me? I'm doing pretty good with my resolutions thus far. I don't think I've been procrastinating, I have been setting realistic goals and meeting my short-term goals...and have been enjoying life by being less of a work-a-holic. In fact I have plans to snow ski in Colorado next month...and travel in August to Prince Edward Island to bike around the entire island and stay overnights at bed-n-breakfast inns along the way(I did this before and looking forward to doing it again!).
I am enjoying life...stopping often to smell the roses along the way...now if only we can do something about our economy.
Anyone else want to share and give us an update on how they are doing with their New Year's resolution?

Well with the economy and the travel down like it is I have really been working on positive thoughts.... I have been doing prettty good at that.... I have a wonderful things that have happened during the first 2 months of this year. I have also quit smoking Dec 8th was my last one (slipped for about a week 1 pack when I took John back to the airport) but have been smoke free since then..

To stop smoking, but it is so hard to do.So easy for other people to say but to us is hard.You have to have a will power to do it.Anyhow I will still trying because I know its not good for our health.
