I totally agree.
With the "it won't POSSIBLY happen to me" ignorance out there, those most likely to have "something" don't even go for testing..they just keep spreading their legs and their diseases.
Maybe they should have a tattoo on their privates once they've been diagnosed as having "something"..like a "user beware - proceed with caution" symbol .
I like this idea a bit more.

Autumn Bless you for bringing up this topic. I have had 3 nieces all differnt ages from 21 to 48 come down with different STD's. Two of them got it from a long term husbands. The other just got sloppy with the condom's. Being 54 yes, that is old to some of you kiddo's out there, but I am very sexually active with my long term boy toy. I was divorced for 2 years before I was not scared to death to have sex. For me I had to have a friend with benefits.
When you were knocked about being a dancer in 1970 is silly. I was a dancer at the Jet Set in Houston Texas for 2 years from 1976 to 1979. Also, had two son's to support. When I am in a club men look more at me than those girls that are acting slutty. Why? Because we learned to do it slow and easy with style and grace. You are right we have a presence! You go girl!

i believe most states will charge a person with attempted murder however that may get reduced to reckless endangerment, you can't charge a person with murder if the victim the weapon was used against isn't dead.

Welll, some people ARE ignorant of the law. BUT, the poster may have just not put in the full facts, right? The person who got convicted of this, actually, may have killed many people BEFORE he got caught. I've heard of this many times and people like THAT should be BEAT, SHOT, HUNG, until DEAD, DEAD, DEAD!!!

Aids is a deadly desease. If you have it,don't spread it!On to step two.Your a retired stripper but your body belongs to your husband right? WRONG!If your want your naked body to belong to your husband, then get naked for him and with him.Dancing toppless or naked in front ofother guys means your sharing your views with others.
I'm gonna step in here church lady. This woman has done nothing wrong. Now do you have something against a lot of female actors that take their cloths off and some simulating sex, i.e. Nichol Kidman, ect ect ect. The one thing I hate these days is all the women wearing sexy stuff, just to tease us men, if you don't want us to look, keep it covered. Just like there are no strip clubs in this town, but every other month they have a woman's nite with male strippers See us men might go out and rape some woman if we see a naked one dancing. But they can watch naked men, oh forgot, we men have no control Well, have talked to some of the young guys that hit the bars yet, believe me, control is not a male problem most of them are afraid to mess with women cause they don't want a parrenty law suit man it never used to be this way. So whats up women, make up your mind for once, you can't have it both ways.

Asking for test results is a good idea--but Safety is the only solution. Aids and many other disease like Hpv, Heppatitus C, Aids, and other stds caused by the human papaloma virus can take months--some even years to show as a positive result. So the best thing you can do is wrap it--and be very selective--oh well I guess I fall into the stingey or prudish females. I love life and my children--There are too many things I want to enjoy and do to be careless.

i remember when i got tested for the first time. i was about 30. my 20's were wild. i had had many 3somes and many many women. when my test came back negative, i almost jumped over the counter to kiss the receptionist. (we ended up dating) lol. but i vowed then and there that my days of 1 night stands were over. the waiting (for the test results) was very scary. all those things go through your mind. the "what if's". it is scary out there. i too, have friends with HIV and they do the same thing. to me, its murder. plain and simple. im a firm believer that it should be public record about ANYONE with that horrible disease. who cares about their privacy. they could murder someone.
I certainly understand how you felt about waiting test results out for HIV..I went through that too...but it wasn't because of having sex with anyone..In fact I was married, but working in the hospital...I accidentally stuck my finger with a contaminated needle that I had just used to draw blood on a patient that had just given birth..hospital policy was testing for one yr, in three month intervals..each and every time I was sweating it..since I was married almost 24 yrs, I never thought I would have to worry about that, up until I found out that my ex had been cheating..so, once again I put myself through the barrage of testing for a yr..thanfully all tests were clear!..whew..but, now that I am single there is no way I would even consider having sex without protection..I value my life too much to chance endangering myself for a moment of pleasure..I haven't been sexuall active since my ex and I seperated anyway and I wont until I am in a committed relationship, and he needs to show me the papers first!..

<--- SPEADS GOOD NEWS AND ORGASMS
The scenario you described is very common. I don’t know what you consider a person who is HIV positive ‘looks’ like being as you said your friend doesn’t ‘look’ like the type or that she was infected. Additionally, by virtue of her being HIV positive and knowingly going out and having unprotected sex, regardless of malice aforethought she’s committing a crime… and by virtue of you knowing before the fact you are guilty of capitulation if not conspiracy. If you know a felony is being committed, or will be committed and you don’t report it – you’re guilty of a crime.
As for you not having sex due to fear… that doesn’t make you a prude, it makes you stupid. Test results can be forged, there’s a six month window period and they could have engaged in high risk behavior right after the test, and condoms can break. So regardless of how well you know someone, or how long you wait, you’re still taking the same risks you would if you met someone tonight and had protected sex with them.
