while the future may seem so far away, it isn't. you need to start planning now for the future. taking care of the baby goes beyond staying healthy right now. you will have a lot more to do than just stay healthy in several months. you need to get your finances right, make sure your living situation is ideal for a child, find a good daycare (and get your name on the list...a lot of good daycares have waiting lists), make sure your boss is aware of the situation, find a support system, decide who will be with you during delivery and who will be with you while you are recovering (some women just need a few days, with both of my kids it took me weeks to recover), etc. there is a lot for you to take care of before the baby gets here. if he has decided to leave then the hell with him. you have someone else to think about now. you are secondary from this point on in your life.

first off I'm in the same situation and you didn't get knocked up you laid there and got pregnant and it sucks and it's gonna be hard but guess what it happened.....now pick yourself up and plan for the future because when your sad time goes by really fast I'm almost half way done and worried about how I'm gonna make it but it all works out. I have cut off all ties to the person who got me pregnant I need positive supportive people in my life and I suggest you do the same so you can be emotionally healthy. Mine calls every few weeks to tell me what an idiot he was to leave and I tell him "Yes, you were but you made your choice" I won't let him come back into my life not even be his friend. The reason I'm telling you this is because you need someone in your life you can depend on and especially now .....so hang in there get happy and forget about him focus on your kids and your future I have 3 kids plus this unexpected blessing and you know what it has made me put my priorities back in line and hopefully you will get yours there too
