I do, it was in high school and he turned out to be gay!!!! And because of him, I remained a virgin until college!!! But we are still great freinds now!
but it was hard then because I thought I turned him gay!!! I know now that you do not turn people gay, you are either gay or you are not...
but to this day, he is still a very dear friend!!!! And he taught me a valuable lesson....YOU CAN NOT MAKE SOMEONE LOVE YOU

Barb, he may have loved you anyway, but as a friend. Sounds like it was/is still a nice relationship.
My early childhood friend was a boy, Peter. My family called him my 'sandbox boyfriend'.
Then in grade school, my best friend was a boy, Wayne. In grade 5, a boy named John gave me a present at the end of school. So I guess maybe I was HIS first love - didn't think of him as mine, he was my friend.
My first crush was in grade 7 but he didn't like me. My first love would have been Clyde, in grade 8, who would rush to my school from his just so he could walk me home.
My first unrequited love would have been Bob R. One of us was always too shy, then I had a boyfriend, then he had a girlfriend. I got a new boyfriend, and he married his girlfriend.
I gotta write all this in my journal - thanks for the memory spark, Barb! Haven't thought of all those boys in years.

My first girlfriend was when I was 8 years old.Her name was Sheila.Her and I were very close.But in he middle of the school year,her family had to move.I'll never forget our last kiss.I hope she is as sweet today as she was then.

Absolutely! I had small crushes in grade school but my first love was a guy named Matt in high school. We dated for 3 years through school. We broke up when I went to college. Funny, that 80s Ballad thread reminded me of my high school years and listening to most of those songs with him watching Headbangers Ball lol.

Debbie, when I was 4 yrs old, we lived very close to each other, our families were good friends, we played spin the bottle alot growing up, she only thought of me like a brother (a lot of girls thought of me as their brother, I hated beening thought of as their brother, I just tried to be nice to them, nice guys finish last) we were always good friend until today, we were the same age, birthdays a week apart, When I go to my home town during the holidays I always stop by her mom's house to see her, she married a good friend of mine

Yes, the very first girl that I loved was in the third grade, she had Red hair and wore Satin dresses ~ oh, she was so beautiful, but her family moved away and I was broken hearted. I have not dated a Red headed girl since.
My first adult love, however, became my first wife and although I loved her more than my own life, she never gave a rat's behind for me and told me on the third day of our marriage that she only married me because she knew that I would always take good care of her; we divorced ten years later. To let you know how much I loved her: I was married to my second wife for four years before I could call my second wife by her name, because if I thought of my wife, the name that came to my mind was my first wife's name.
I've not seen, nor heard from her in over 22 years; as for my second wife, I've not seen her in two years, but I pray that I never see her again.
This is not something that I let myself think about often, if at all ! I try to think about the good memories, when I let myself think about them, but there aren't very many of those good memories.

Oh, yeah. Her name was Desiree. We used to talk for hours on the phone when I was in school. Our relationship broke off after only one month when my mom and dad got the phone bill. I still remember her dearly, she was never shy on the phone.

Her name was kendra, I was in 4th grade and had no clue what I was getting into. Every day at recess I'd play tag with her and we would always chase each other and threaten each other. To this day I never talked to her about since elementary school. I never see her any more, but she is all I thought about when I was little.

1st grade...Terry. We moved away and I cried because I wanted to grow up and marry him LOL.
I had alot of boyfriends in school. The main one was Benny.
My actual first love and only true love I married and we have 2 kids. Been divorced since 1984.

Oh Yes, Mary Ann in the seventh/eighth grade. She was a brain as well as a beautiful blond cheerleader....A cheerleader and me? Impossible, but I must have underestimated my personality and influence back then...And so came my first 'true kiss' also, initialized by her, not me.....It lasted into mid High School.
