Does anyone else feel so lonely and down lately? I hate that feeling, I know its because I am having bad luck with the guys and I really want a relationship, just haven't found that one. Guess I'm in the dumps lately - a lil negative.

I use to feel like that some times, when I was 10 years younger.
Today, I don't let anything get me down. Being alone is just a temporay thing, like having no money, it is solvable, in my opinion. Now, I may be in a situation or something will happen, and I'll think about it and it will bring me down a couple of notches, but, once I see that I'm headed that way, I stop thinking about whats bringing down and get back to what is really important to me, being happy. To me, It's hard to find someone if your not in a good mood and you never know who you might meet on any given day, so, I keep myself in a good mood, so when ever that person does come around, the door is open for something bright and wonderful to happen.
That's just me.

You need to find the strength to stay positive. Of course being lonely stinks, but when the right person comes along, if you are giving off negative vibes, it will show. I'm thinking most of us are on these sites because none of us wants to feel alone. Just remember, coming off as depressed or down isn't the most attractive quality. Get out with friends, family, who ever is important to you. Find a way to keep the chin up. easier said than done...but it's a must do

Just have fun and don't worry about a relationship.

i sometimes get lonely even when im in a relatioship with someone. for me i think feeling lonely comes from not feeling like somebody needs you or wants you enough. i believe this happens when you start craving attention or affection and are not receiving enough of it.
the reverse is can also be true i think. depends on if you're an introvert or an extrovert.
then again, it can also occur when you are feeling the need to hold somebody or just be held which relates to my first statement. grab a friend and go have some fun, you'll snap out of it fast depending on where you go and what you're doing. trying kicking it in the forums like i do. that really helps.

I feel awsome!!!!!!!! go out and spend a little money on yourself..OP..you have family and friends right?? Yep..I have my down days to...but don't let it drag you down!!!Maybe if you havent' found one its just not the time for the one!!

Yes everyone gets lonely and its sucks but your what 28 you have many yrs of this feeling to go.. with time you learn what will get you out of this FUNK.If you get more confidence in how a great person you are then it will be easier to feel better.I believe things happen for a reason and you meet people or break up. Its called Lifes Lessons
