I agree Gator, it's hard to find, but it does exist. I have been lucky enough to have this once before. Still miss him to this day. He passed away. But I will never give up on finding it again.

oh i agree, but i was trying to correct his statement.
i believe in love, i just dont believe its possible to fall in love with someone right off the bat, and thus our (or their)flaws are still going to affect our choices.

I think that we sometimes fall in love with the idea of that person first. Sometimes it works out where you really do fall in love with the real person and sometimes it don't, but that isn't going to stop me from letting myself fall hard when it feels like I should.

From the question, it seems as if you have been hurt a few times.
As human beings made in the image of God, we all have been given the ability to love, but some through traumatizing situations have built up barriers sometimes while young or old to defend against the pain that this love sometimes brings.
We drop our defenses normally when we fall in love, leaving ourselves open to pain from these individuals who have been hurt.
We have been blessed by being made in the image of God, who is love.
Women, if you believe were taken from man.
It stands to reason then, that we are very capable of this very powerful emotion.
We are just conditioned to act as if we do not feel this emotion.
A soul mate is very real, but as God says seek ye first the kingdom of God and all things will be added unto you. Be anxious for nothing.
It works.

the answer is yes we do! The reality is the ones we fall in love with may not nesesarly feel the same way toward us.  So know you know where the term"love the one your with comes from" The same question could be asked of the ladies and why??

Good for you Me4..a few sarcastic jerks do not represent the real men on here.
Men and women both fall in love, of course we do! You just have to be lucky enough to find someone real. Why not fall hard? If you dont take the chance you dont find the happiness. And if you fall and its not real, well, we are experts at picking ourselves back up, dusting off and starting over, right?

me again gator with another one of your posts which is a big thing with me some woman do not respect men, but on the other hand I have not met a man in a very long time that respects a woman and a real woman with values and could make them happy forever and that does not mean marriage either just a LTR
