If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, swims like a duck, even quacks like a duck, but she tells you it is not a duck, and not to make a duck out of it. Should you just try as hard as you can to imagine that that waddling quacking thing is not a duck?

If it's about a suspicion of cheating, thats all you need. Once someone allows the suspicion to go, the relationship is already f*cked.
seriously don't know how many times I have 'ignored' my suspicions only to find out later.
From now on, if I suspect,i call her out. If I suspect a second time, thats it, relationship done.

Ok, seriously... what the duck are we talking about here?? More details are required, because I'll be the first to admit, sometimes one's imagination can get the best of one.

Is it a Duck?
1. Professes this great love for an "ex", but states they are "just friends" now.
2. States it is ok to cheat as long as the other person doesn't know about it.
3. Find them in each other's arms kissing. With it being explained that they just had a little too much to drink, and they did not know what they were doing?
4. Telephone calls at midnight from the "ex", and being told not to make a big deal out of it.
5. Going out in the middle of the day for two hour lunches with a male coworker.
6. Asking other men for their telephone numbers, and then saying the number is for a relative.
7. Saying good night early in the evening, only to find out the next day, that she met up with the "ex" the same night at a bar and closed it down.
8. Saying she is going out with a girlfriend, but "accidently" ran into the "ex" on the way, and went bar hoping with him instead.
9. Saying she is stopping at a bar for 'one' drink, before going home, and then not hearing from her until the next afternoon.
10. Drunk dialing me and canceling a date.
I'm begining to think that the words "We're just friends", are the most destructive words in a relationship. I think they are some sort of women's code for: "I like you, I want to be with you, these other guys are 'just friends', and I don't want to talk about it."
Anyway, I'm pretty sure it is a Duck, I'm just not quite sure what kind of Duck?

The truth always comes out. Just saw the proof of a duck the other day. Was in the success stories... My problem was that I actually believed him. I am a fool for being so trusting.

No ladyfireeyes81... we have to trust if we want to have a fulfilling and lasting relationship...he is the "fool" for betraying your trust...and if he did it to you he will do it to others... he is so underserving of you...hang in there....theres better out there!!

I know there is better out there for me. It just comes down to the fact that I don't have opportunity to meet many new people.
