I think it's true that we do want the same things... I think the trick is finding someone who we are compatible with...someone that can loves us enough to overlook out defects and vice versa!

Far as I'm concerned everything I'm looking for so far those that have been attracted me don't have any of the qualities or just one or maybe two... Then they have numerous issues of their own which usually I have no patience for. Clinical depression, and other conditions where they require a truck of meds to start their day.

okay, but i have to admit, i have my cell phone with me when i'm out so my kids can reach me . . . and i don't know if its important or not unless they text me . . . trust me, I'd love to throw my cell phone away on the weekends but not feasible at this point in time . . . me and my kids are a package deal . . .

the texting bothers me more than the chatting. and it really hasn't happened to me but once because I avoid the cell phone addicts. It never even gets to the first date stage

Well personally, I leave mine on mute and if I see that I've had a call and have a message I will ask the man if it's ok if I check it just to make sure it's not an emergency...if it's not...I call them back later.

Well bounty.... they could always put cell on vibrate and put it someplace useful to them. lmao
One female friend of mine is handcuffed to her phone I swear, tried to answer it while driving.. crashed her car and called me crying that it wasn't her fault on crashing the car and breaking the entire front axle and steering column.... I simply replied "no it's the phone's fault for ringing, of course it's not your fault... idiot"

I think it is a different time than when I grew up. All things are faster and kids need more guidance than many get. Just my view
