right, let's be reasonable . . . to be honest what i would do is leave it on silent in my purse and check it when i went to the ladies room to make sure there are no fires that can't wait until tomorrow . . .
but i totally get it . . . i can't stand it when men have entire conservations on their phone when i'm sitting across the table from them . . . sometimes they do it to try to impress you with how important they are . . .

Hi, I'm joining the conversation late....Bounty, I have a question for you. Tell me about texting trouble. Are you saying that someone just pulls out her phone on your date or time together and starts texting someone? That is SO RUDE. I would NEVER do that! If my date did it then I would have to say something. I REALLY hate it when a man answers his cell and starts talking to someone else with me sitting right there. I have gotten a call and just secretly looked at it to make sure its not an emergency but not answering the call. If you can't do it secretly then check it when you go to the restroom. Just don't drop it in the john accidently. (I'm a RN. We wear scrubs and this happens a lot to people at work, I've been told. Cell Ph just slides right out of your pocket!)

i look for her ability to converse, can she talk intelligently about different topics (well rounded) does she talk then let me. Does she allow me to open doors for her, is she considerate and mannered. Polite not a slut. I hate guessing so i like her to let me know what she wants if i havnt given it to her already. Does she accept compliments or does she think i just tell her nice things to screw her afterward. things like that

A good personality, fun to be with, affectionate, and intelligence, that would about do it.
Cell phones? this is a true story of an accident involving two teen age girls in a town near me. They were driving home in a suburban area, when the driver's cell phone rings. She tells the passenger that she "has to get this", and picks up her phone while the passenger take hold of the steering wheel. The passenger's cell phone rings, she says "I have to get this", and lets go of the steering wheel. The car then crashes into a parked car on the street. These teens thought it was more important to talk on their cell phones than it was to steer a car while it was moving? You can't make up stuff like this. To me it shows the truth is stranger than fiction.
