i think 40s is a great age to be in...we have become the new 30s so im told...i don't know about anyone else in this group but i feel as a 40 something yr old i am more sexy in mind and spirit than i ever felt i was in my 20's or 30's..and i also love the wisdom that i have been able to obtain through my journey of my early yrs!

I'm hoping my 40's will be better than my 30's. lol 40's started out really bad but are getting much better! And yes, it's great to finally be able to do what I want without the kids. I still have one that depends on me, but she is out with her friends alot which gives me more free time.

I think I have learned a lot by making several mistake's. I hope that I won't repeat anymore of the bad ones-LOL. It's taken me some time to get use to being in 40's but my nest is empty as far as my two children. They are grown and that's hard to get use too. Now, it's my time to have some fun!!

I am glad to be 40 because it means I have reached the halfway point in my life. Let's face it, I am not going to live to 100, probably 80-85. So it is a new beginning for me, a chance to change what I was to what I want to be. I feel born again and able to live my life all over.
