I went to Florida and to New York...... New York sucked because of the guy. But had fun anyways. Florida was awsome!!!! However we only lasted a year due to distance and not being able to see each other was hard. But we are still friends to this day and it has been 3 years. So people should take chances every once in a while.

I traveled from Missouri to Idaho and stayed for 9 months but had to come back to Missouri and he couldn't do the same for me....so the answer is negative results; won't ever do that again!

 Only if it's a hop accross the bridge...like De to NJ. Accross the border to Md. Otherwise...it doesn't work. How can you go half way accross the country? Airfare is expensive...then...where do you stay...at his house...I don't think so. I think if you're a women, you're setting yourself up. Is the man willing to come to you? Is he ok with staying in a hotel? Hummm...how long can that last?

Let me get this straight, all the people responding to this question have travled OUT OF STATE, to meet someone for a date?????????? Doesn't this come across, as well I don't know, just a TAD BIT DESPERATE???????????????? Heck if I were looking for a date, I probably wouldn't travel across town.. Yes! Traveled to meet a couple of guys who turned out to be as wonderful in person as they seemed online.
I'm working on the details to visit a guy out east, but with my new job and his busy schedule, it's a little tricky.

Not from this site but I have traveled to meet this one man........but it's not worth it if you can't see them day to day and see if they are being truthful/honest about themselves before getting more serious/married. Big mistake on my part.......so no long distance relationship for me.

How did I miss the MO DH meet?! I'm seriously bumming...
I travelled 180 miles one way for a while, almost to the Mo border. Since that is an area I am open to relocating to, I would do it again. The guy was not what he said he was, was probably not what he thought he was either, but I would do it again. I wouldn't go somewhere I have no desire or ability to relocate to.

I find making the trip to NJ or DE. exciting, taking a short trip over State lines to meet a lover is exciting. As long as the chemistry is there and the travel doesn't exhaust you just getting there. Never know Your dreams may be closer than you think.

well most girls are out of state on here.. it gets expensive but the only thing about it you are too far away and dont see each other for a month it just harder to keep the spark up!!
